The last Philippine "air-superiority" F-8s didn't even carry AIM-9Bs. Hopefully the Koreans won't be stingy in transferring technology like the American were. I wonder if the deal carries a long term supply of parts and spare engines or do we have to cannabalize the 12 units to keep a couple flying like what happened to the S-211s.
dapat dyan papasok yung Reverse Engineering and / or Technology transfer kung pwede... so we Filipinos will not have to purchase from them eternally.. even if we cannot manufacture the planes on our own, at least we can support its maintenance.
ang galing Samsung, Daewoo and Hyundai pala yan.... para lang siguro yan Tucson... hehehe
btw, sa korea aside from LED TV's, samsung also have a "samsung car" hehehe
sana pag na-acquire 'to ng pinas e laoded na din ng kimchi! mas panalo 'to!
^ Puwede!
Sabi na kasing sayang lang per natin dyan dahil wala tayo pang-maintain at pang-operate long-term.
that's why germany hosts the u.s. military so they don't have to spend much money of their own for defense and still get the locals employed by the u.s. bases. japan too does not have a big japanese air self defense force. they team tag with the u.s. airforce in yokota air base, kadena air base, team tag with the u.s. navy at the atsugi naval base. team work is the key
grabe ang mahal pala ng mga armament ng figther jets...it could cost million pala pag may target
tingin pa sana sila ng masmura hehehe
wild dream nalang na sana on our own makagawa tayo ng mga armaments natin hehehehe
btw magkakaroon tayo ng LED factory sa laguna owned by Japan Environment Technology Development Co. Ltd. (Jented)

There are US bases in Germany and Japan because it is a consequence of their defeat during World War 2 as the occupying force. Malaki yung spending ng JSDF at Germany. They make their own tanks and planes that cost billions even though their post-war constitution limits their use outside their territory.
