Kudos to Meralco for resolving my complaint in a professional & timely manner.

I called up the Meralco hotline an hour past lunchtime yesterday to complain about the irregular voltage output that I'm getting. The CSR took my contact details and gave me a ticket number.

A few minutes later, I received a text message confirming my complaint.

Then a few hours later, I received another text message saying that the problem has already been assigned to the Valenzuela Service Center.

Lastly, at around dinner time, I received another text message stating the service crew number that will arrive and that they'll approximately arrive within 4 hours.

At around 1:30AM, I was awakened from my sleep by a phone call, it was the dispatch center informing me that the service crew is already outside our home. I opened the gate and the technician went to work, removing the old splice (with a crappy workmanship that's causing the fluctuating voltage in our house) that connects our meter to the electric grid. He then replaced it with a new snap-on splice. It just took him a few minutes to do this, I offered coffee but they declined saying that they still have to go to another location.

What's more, the Meralco service vehicle is equipped with an LCD monitor that presumably has the list of their crew's work order. Really impressive!

Sana nga, it took them more then 1 week to solve my cross line and intermittent ADSL connection at home.

Buti pa ang Meralco, Ok ang service.

Hehehe. Sumobra pala ako sa "was". Araw-araw din akong tumatawag. Nag-file nga ako ng service charge rebate. Pati sa rebate ang tagal ding ayusin.
