CBU from japan, that's why its 814k. possible competitors in its class is either honda civic/city, toyota corolla, or mitsu lancer. hoping this would be a good fight for suzuki. :|

i fear it would be losing this fight it simply would not compel the buyers to consider this car unlike the swift, apv, and alto.

hi, can anyone post the specs of the SX4? from the picture pa lang it seems to be more at par with the (Category B) City/Vios sedans in contrast to the (Category C) Civic/Altis/Lancer sedans. And I pressume that they will bring out base models soon.

If i were to choose this (P814k) versus the P811k Vios 1.5 G Leather, i think i will go for the SX4!

Otherwise ipon pa ako and get the Lancer EX MX at 980k.

The interior is identical to the Grand Vitara (and maybe Swift as well) except for the aircon control panel.

Had the chance to sit in an SX4 the other day, seating position feels like that of an MPV or minivan.
Instead of stitting low and stretched out, you sit tall and upright.
The Passenger compartment seems short, but makes up for this in height.
The 2500 mm wheelbase is quite short by modern compact car standards.

Even in Japan the SX4 sedan is FWD-only.
Only the SX4 hatchback has optional 4WD.

I saw some pictures of the interior. But then, I'm not sure if the seats are all leather. Is it?

I have read the discussion on bigbigcar.com and it seems to me that one of "their" concerns is the mediocre 15-inch wheels. I ask for clarification: is it only 15? I saw a display unit in a mall and I think the car does have 17-inch wheels.

I think its 6.5 inches my little brother has a 2007 SX4 5speed MT AWD 2.0liter white rally right now. For stock its an ok car but with a bilstein shocks w/ a costume coilover its way better now lowered 2 inches, his plans is to do a WRC copy of the SX4.

ang mahal naman well, i first saw here in our place the sx4 not in a casa. walang suzuki samin (pinapagawa pa) so naka park lang muna sa tent ang sx4 sabi ko "diba sx4 yun? may ganun na pala dito?" ayun sx4 nga talaga. my impression is, it looks like a city that has a short hood and butt. pero no race mas sporty ang sx4

dun sa link na inabot niyong bigbigcar, bakit dun may nagsabing darating daw yung hatchback version niyan dito sa pinas? totoo ba talaga yun?
what's the essence of buying an sx4 hatch or sedan kung yung name niya mismo (which says 4wd) eh hindi naman 4wd?
i love the hatchback version. kung mas mura lang sana or malapit sa price ng mas magandang car ng suzuki na swift if possible then i think many would consider this one. yung nagrason na 'kaya hindi dadalhin ng suzuki yan dito dahil matatalo benta ng swift and the others' parang hindi acceptable for my POV. kasi diba hindi naman yung units yung habol nila basta makabenta ok na. sana ganun nasa strategy nila not by pagkatalo ng iba nilang unit sa kapwa nila suzuki na unit ang iniisip nila..

OT: ano nga po pala meaning ng CBU? hehe salamat :D
