Mga sir, my company gave me a jimny 2007 model..kaso ang mileage nsa 400k+ na, pero sobrang ganda pa rin ng takbo..ni hindi mo maririnig ung makina kapag nasa loob ka. Kakachange oil lang daw before binigay sa akin, ang pinaayos ko lang ung mga bushing ng shock kasi medyo maingay na,..ganito ba tlaga katibay itong jimny? Meron syang konting kabig sa kanan, ang sabi tie-rod end, yung nga bang ang cause nun?..TIA

Talaga 400k+ kms na? na-ovehaul narin siguro iyan? kung hinde pa, ang galing naman ang maintenance .

Hi guys, wife is really insisting on a jimny next year. Ask ko lang how is the ride. 1.3 lang sya so i guess sa highway not as fast as you would want? Mataas sya na mapayat, while cornering does it feel like its going to tilt a bit? Plus there are no airbags, how do you feel with regards sa safety. Thanks

yung kabig, pacheck mo muna sa suspension shop. as for the underchassis, generally speaking matibay talaga kasi solid axle suspension siya. same with old patrols and land cruisers. same din sa mga lumang trucks.

as for the engine, basta naman well maintained matibay naman yan

Since 4x4 ang jimny sir it is built tough it's built for off road sir and the 1.3engine will suffice as you'll just cruise sa hiways and 80kph to a 100 is decent.

Sa kabig sir better have it checked or aligned sa mga under chassis shops like servitek and the like po.

I have a 2015 Jimny. 8kms/liter city driving, 14kms/liter highway driving. kaya naman niya 120kph sa highway but comfortable driving speed is 100kph. sa cornering naman okay lang, except siguro kung kaskasero talaga ang driver. No airbags is a disadvantage so doble ingat. ang plus side talaga ng jimny is mataas ng resale value because of the enthusiasts who modifies it and use it for hardcore 4x4 trailing.

sa mga gas stations pwede. pero generally speaking, kahit walang undercoat ok naman. regular underwash pwede yan para regular checking din if may rust ba yung underchassis. less than 400 pesos lang ang underwashing. every 6-8 months ako magpa underwash

After going thru atleast 5 different vehicles on my driving history, the time finally came when i needed a second/back up car, always wanted a jimny since its launch. Just reserved a unit today, got the new shade of red hope to get it by next week :D. Anyway, Meron na ba nakapaglagay or may oem ba na makukuhanan ng center arm rest ang jimny?

so far happy with it.

700 sa station. But you can find as low as 450 per liter sa OLX.

Maganda din semi synthetic HX7 5w40 ng shell. Nasa 350 per liter.

For mineral, delo 400 or rimula r4x. Nasa 200-250 per liter.

shell helix hx7 na diesel (which can also be used on gas engines) 5w30 ang viscosity. 300+ din per litre sa station. cheaper sa auto supply

Proper red fog light sir for the rear, not those aftermarket ones. Some new cars have standard rear foglight. Useful during heavy downpour while driving on highway or during foggy night in tagaytay. My ford fiesta has one, even our 15yr old chevy van has one. CUrious lang din ako kasi why would suzuki put a red lens if it has no purpose diba. Yung mga 2nd gen v6 variant vitara functional yung bumper mounted brake and signal light. That's what i plan to do dreamur.
