    Hello Guys,

at first, please answer in english because my tagalog is very very bad, i am a foreigner.

My car is a Nissan Elgrand Van and the rack and pinion is leaking.
The problem is that nobody knows the type of rack and pinion that is installed and i think it is the best to go to an expert to fix it.
I want that they check my suspension too and i wish to have more ground clearance (at the front only) if this is possible.
A lot of wishes, i know.
I come from Nueva Ecija and it would be nice when this company is at the north side from manila.
Manila because we visit relatives there and want to combine that.
Which company can fix my problem with the rack and pinion and the service my suspension too ?
Please with complete company name, adress and adress and/or telephone number.

I see in sulit "Area 51" are they good for that kind of job ?
Cruven is a suspension specialist, can they repair the leaking rack and pinion too.
I know i can call this companys but i like to read what you think about them.

    Thank you !

    Ruediger

    Hi and welcome to tsikot.com.

Try to PM one of our forumer DVLDOC or check his thread about Elgrand. http://tsikot.com/forums/nissan-cars...has-one-50133/

From what i remember, parts are similar to other local nissan models like Estate, Pathfinder, Frontier..Take note that Elgrand are not locally sold here so most units are converted from RH to LHD. Parts used to convert came either from other LHD nissan models or some other brands. Maybe if you could check the part number stamped in the steering rack, that would make the search easier.

    Thank you 12vdc,

i know the Thread form Doc very good but there is no information that belongs to my question.
DVLDOC dont know which brand and model is installed in my Elgrand (how he can know that ?).
For your information, not most, no EVERY Elgrand here in the Philippines is converted to LHD because this van was never produced with Orginal LHD.

    More detailed, for your information:
Before i asked for a reputable shop i tryed out to find out which rack and pinion is installed to find the parts and a repair shop in the province but there is no number or sticker visible.
Thats why i asked for a good repair shop for my rack and pinion in manila, so it is not important to find out before which brand and model is installed.
The experts in the repair shop should know that when they remove the unit and fix it.
That is what i expect from a specalist repair shop.

I hope know that one member is willing to answer MY Question.
    Please.....to all members,
read thoughtful my post and respect my question: "Please tell me a good shop to repair my rack and pinion".
That is all what i want to know.
    Thank you !

    Again.......
I seen two shops and please tell me if they can fix my rack and pinion and check my suspension (and can modify for a bit more ground clearance):

    Area 51
    Cruven

    Thank you !

Toto Power Steering Specialist in BMA Corner Kitanlad (you can also opt BMA ave corner E.Rod) is a shop I can vouch personally. They are no flashy shop with flashy amenities, but boy they get the job done perfectly. And they charge 3k only for Rack and Pinion overhaul. A little warning though; do not entertain anyone who will approach you if they are not any of Toto's personel.
