KYB is ok. Just replace the damaged set. Forgot which gives a better ride, gas or fluid.

    Rear Left - P6674, Right P6637
    Labor - P825 per shock.

I find it too expensive so I called my suking auto shop and they said that they don't have original shocks, only KYB. (Fluid Type P2,100 and Gas Type P2,400) - Price quoted last year

The last time I had my car checked (around 0CT 07) by the mechanic at the auto shop, he said that the shocks were still be okay but just this week I noticed that the ride has become rough/matagtag on the driver's side. If the front shocks are damaged already, do I replace just the front shocks or would it be better to replace the rear as well (kahit di pa sira)? Does anyone know where I could buy original shocks for my corolla? or would KYB do na?
    Mahal talaga sa casa.

Pwedeng yung fronts lang palitan mo.

    *speedyfix,

according to their respective dealers, the Focus and Mazda3 both have gas shocks all 'round..

oh i'm not sure about the maz3 and focus... maybe nga they are gas na kasi they seem to have a firmer (more european) ride than other jap cars on the market now.

how much to change shocks sa speedyfix?

i want to replace my front shocks from fluid to gas.

lowered a bit kasi and tumatama sa fenders yun front wheels on rough roads. especially in SLEX, madami rough patches and bigla up and down un ibang levels ng highway. parang every week nagbabago yun layout ng daan dun.

for corolla specially bigbody, you can try those levin short struts.. gas type, refillable cartridge, pwedeng pang track as they are really hard and short, around 1-2 finger gap from stock.

btw, this are for front only and surplus.. but you can change the cartridge to brandnew w/ little modifications..

you can check details about KYB Ultra SR here and the cartridge..

I have a '99 Honda City Type Z or SX8 and I had it's four shock absorbers replaced at Rapide'. AC DELCO ang nilagay na shocks and I think it is cheap * P2950.00 a piece. Was it durabel? Ok ba ang brand na ito?
