Power Steering Repair Kit: Where to have it done

Had the hose replaced pala in Toyorama Banawe but I can't go back there anymore since I don't want to bother my cousin anymore to drive me to Banawe so I'm stuck with either the mechanic from LP or Servitec. Okay sana si Raymond Sarol but I also don't know how to go to San Juan and I need to have the car fixed before Sunday.

if there's no visible leak i suggest to hold off the repair until you're sure of the problem.
consult muna different mechanic. tingnan mo kung pareho diagnosis.

mukhang marami ng sira lumalabas sa car mo, is this the same car na meron ka rin problem sa A/C?

Yup. I just had the transmission support replaced yesterday. I plan to have the repair kit worked on first before returning the car to the AC shop kasi maingay pa din yung compressor (considering that I bought it brand new last feb 08)

try to go to shell perpetual help/customer's cradle in las pinas. get a 2nd opinion over there. i think they're more trustworthy than those ordinary mechanics loitering around auto supply shops

Just this morning I checked the power steering fluid level of my car and saw that something was dangling from the engine (near the motor for the wiper). Turns out that my mechanic from LP forgot to install that part when he worked on the engine support last Wednesday. Grrrr. That's why something was making taktak noise on my way home everytime I accelerate from a full stop because that part was loose and vibrating against the wall/body of the car

ma'am big body po ba ung auto nyo? ksi lahat ng mga sakit na yan napag daan na rin ng auto ko. ung compressor ba orig o replacement lang? dapat cguro under waranty pa yan. pag a/c cguro dapat sa winterpine ipa gawa. mdyo pricey pero sure nman.

Yes. Big body. Orig Compressor na denso. Maingay pa rin but I haven't had the chance to bring it back to the ac shop. 3 months warranty naman. Yung power steering ko nabili ko na yung kit pero di ko pa napapagawa.

3mos? baka mag laps na ung warranty ng compressor. sure po ba kyo na b/n hndi recon? nagbago ba ung lamig ng a/c nyo?

if pabalik balik yung sira then you might consider replacing the whole rack with a surplus unit nalang para simpler.

uy! naniniwala ka dyan--"pag narinig, baka ,magtampo"? yun honda ko ganun...pag "naririnig" niya yun salita "ibebenta/sell" , gumaganti... either i get some scratches or dents on the car. or meron ipapa-repair. sa totoo lang; kaya careful ako to mention those words or anything to that effect.

yun ride (2nd hand na honda A/T) ko i had it subjected to the regular PMS sa casa about 3 months baCK...one finding was to overhaul the PS pump, meron DAW leak...i sought a second opinion pa, pero confirmed ng outside mechanic. so, i had the work done outside the casa yesterday, sa isang maliit na talyer near my place. pero original repair kit ang pinalagay ko...the kit contains siguro a dozen small plastic packs--mga black round rubber and three metal pieces yata yun...costed me a little over P2K (includes the kit, P1,950; labor, P200.00; unleaded gasoline [P50.00, pinanlinis sa P/S pump; wala nabilhan na kerosene eh])...sa akin na yun ATF (left-over ko pa dati) na ginamit to fill up the pump.

sa honda better sana if you used oem honda psf instead of atf.

Lalabas ako ng garage tapos pag turn ko ng steering maingay yung tunog pag check ko ubos na yung power steering fluid Kasi naman ang hirap maghanap ng maayos na mekaniko. Nabili ko na yung kit wala naman gagawa. Ano pa ba pwede masira sa power steering kung bago na kit and hose?
