hi,

pag mabagal na and mejo nakbabad sa preno parang tumitigas sya (ung feeling na naka patay ung makina) then pag ibomba mag okay na naman , scary lalo na pag pababa.. pero hindi madalas mangyari.. Beside that pag nakalahati na ng apak matigas na sya . but okay ung brake pag normal ang speed ko

is this hydrovac issue? for replacement na or is there other culprit?

-vaccuum is okay .. may pressure sya eh
- break fluid is okay hindi nagbabawas
- hindi naman naiipit ang preno, meaning okay lang ung takbo

To check if the hydrovac is working, step on the brake while engine is off. Start the engine, the brake pedal should sink a bit since vacuum will energize the hydrovac. If the pedal does not sink, there is possibly problem sa hydrovac - check for broken vacuum hoses. If the pedal sinks, have the brake master cylinder checked.

I assume that original pa yung hydrovac and yung master cylinder has not yet been replaced. Sometimes kasi mayroon mismatch itong dalawa kung pinalitan.

Also check the inline brake valve sa vacuum hose ng hydrovac. Baka barado or stuck open na (loses vacuum on WOT).

I just test it using the procedure you gave.
I can say now the culprit is hydrovac. upon start the pedal did not sink. the brake master cylinder still working fine.

and beside, that is the finding of my mechanic. without telling him the parts that cause the problem. just told him what the issue all about
