Depends sa kind of tire yan and car kasi. Plus yung brand din na gagamitin mo may malaking effect. You get what you pay for ika nga as ageneral rule. Kaya mahirap i-generalize.

But if may thread wear rating yung tire, then mas madali malaman.

Thread wear ng mga HT tires ay 320-380. ATtires is 440-520 usually afaik. Mas matagal mapudpod AT tire para sa SUV at pick-ups.

We use for the L300 FB the goodyear wrangler. Works well IMHO. Same size sila. But yokohama is better IMO yung 185/65 R14 86H C.drive2 nila.

Due for tire replacement na ang Strada ko. These are my choices:

    1. Pirelli Scorpion ATR
    2. Cooper Discoverer A/T3
    3. Nitto Terra Grappler
    4. Toyo Open Country A/T

Will be using either the size of the current stock Bridgestone Dueler H/T tires of my Strada (245/70 R16) or upgrade to 265/70 R16.

Di ko alam kung saan nakakabili ng Pirelli tires aside from Ben's Ok Banawe and saan nakakabili ng Cooper tires aside from Ryco Makati. Sana Quezon City area lang.

Parang guinea pig na namin yung bibilhing tires so that we would know what tires to buy when we upgrade our upcoming Trailblazer's wheels to offroad wheels.

Interesting. How does it go about its business? Does it shred the used tires into mulch, or does it do something else entirely?

Tires are ridiculously hard to decompose into their constituent substances (rubber and oil, mainly, with some nylon and steel) because of the vulcanization process. Vulcanizing basically pressure-cooks tires into what they are.

Nope... at least the ones on the LC80 were using is quite okay; no difference from the old Bridgestone HTs. Usually ang maingay ay yung m/ts.

anyway i ended up buying wrangler hp aw. ok naman at hindi maingay.
That's a good RV/light SUV tyre. I installed those on my Tita's Escape and a Hyundai Tucson around two years ago and it's doing quite well; noise increases a bit when it wears down but i'm attributing it also to the insulation of the car.

I used these before on our Sentra and they were great street and weekend track tyres. We put in a new set on our Vios and it's fine for the daily highway and street grind even in poor weather. Downside is the thread wear rating is somewhat low (240 i think) but this is given due to it's performance orientation (better grip).
