hi! due for 10k service na 2013 impreza namin, magkano kaya usually aabutin? and ano po ba usual ginagawa, and kung may mga pinapalitan ba aside from usual change oil?
also normal ba na mas madumi lagi front wheels ng brake dust compare sa rear? as in mga 3 or 4 days na bahay-opis na gamit e medyo iba na kulay sa harap, pero sa likod malinis pa din.
thanks
It's been a while since I've posted here. Just wanted to share my experience at BGC. Service is fine and all but there are some niggling issues I've encountered:
My FXT is 3 yrs old, and has done over 18,000 kms only. I've been bringing it in every 6 mos for PMS. Service reps are quite diligent in reminding me about these things. Anyway I brought it in, left it and let them do the estimate. Svc advisor called to tell me about their findings. Total cost would come to over P40,000! I told them to hold out on the parts replacement, and just do the basics.
I figured, why did my suspension parts need replacement already? 18,000+ kms on the odo shouldn't justify the 40,000 km check up costs. Are those mechanics going by the manual or what they really see when they inspect the car? If it's the latter, then that doesn't speak well of Subaru. Ang dali pala masira ng parts.
While we're at it, does anyone have recommendations on other repair shops for Subaru? My car is past its warranty, and I think it's time to look at other shops that allow owners to look in on the mechanics while service is ongoing.
Thanks.

Punta ka fusion r. erodriguez quezon city. Tapat ng petron fuel station.
Kaya umabot ng ganyan kamahal sa casa kasi may hinahabol na target sales quota mga yan.
Coolant levels were getting very low so I opted to get some from M.I. Went to Alabang last Monday but they were offering the pure inugen gallon at 2.5k. Called up M.I. greenhills and got a gallon of premixed coolant at 675. I'd just top up until almost halfway the full and low mark.
Related to PMS, anyone purchase a air cabin filter outside of MI? OEM or Third Party? This is an easy DIY and I would like to know if we can source the filter for a lower price. I can share how it's done on a 2012 Subaru Forester (should be the same for other models of recent years).
Had my 30k km PMS today at MI BGC. Got in at 8am and completed before lunch time.
Work order included :
Check up
Oil change
Filter change
Brake cleaning
Windshield cleaning
Total cost is 8k.
Recommendation to change the battery as well. Bought a new one crom the Motolite nearby. Had to reset the auto driver window riser as the full up/down stopped working after the battery change.

Had 40T service done by MI last Sat. 34T including brake pads replacement and engine cleaning. I supplied the pads. Biggest cost was 12T for ATF - 10 liters daw. 2 days later my A/C stopped cooling. Evaporator leaked and was replaced under warranty.
Hi do you have any idea about bgc casa? Cause i bring my xv earlier for the 10 thousand kms, then they want to change my roter and breakpad kasi pudpud na na raw total of 30k including the basic check up. Thanks
Do you have any idea pag di na casa san okay for subaru?
40,000 km PMS today for my 2012 Forester NA. Estimate is 29k. Half of the cost is the ATF.
Anyone know how much the 40k PMS is for manual Subbies such as the WRX?
