Was at Motor Image Greenhills today. I saw 1 deep cherry pearl, 1 satin white pearl, and 1 dark grey or black pearl. Not sure of their variants.

There is also 1 tangerine orange pearl Premium in the showroom*.

*their showroom doubles as an annex to the small stockyard they have on the third floor. Units on display in the showroom have been appropriated and will be released the soonest.

To those who PM'd me I apologize for the late reply. I'll just post it here instead.

Here was my previous initial thoughts about the XV (late March)

    1. Driving feel. I use it for cruising and some spirited driving. The first thing that strikes me is 'no stress' driving. The vehicle is very light and fun to drive. I've driven it to Lucao, Pangasinan, and Tagaytay. In every instance it was always a relaxing drive. I've overtaken vehicles on both occasions and I'm happy with the response.

    2. Fuel consumption, in the city with light traffic and distances 8-10km consumption is usually 10li/100km. In the long drives, I was able to achieve best real-time performance of 6.2li/100km (Makati to NLEX Balintawak toll). Full trip recording is around 8li/100km. Tagaytay was 9li/100km due to bad traffic and even more spirited driving.

    3. Handling. I don't own a Forester so I can't compare. Compared to my Impreza, I am happy with the confidence it gives me. The anti-rebound system minimizes roll and I can attest to that. I feel the same confidence in cornering as the my Impreza AFTER I've installed the Swift Sport Springs and replaced the stock of the Impreza. The vehicle dynamics control is very helpful and in every driving I'm trying to deliberately engage them. It's giving me the stability in braking and running over uneven roads. I can 'see' them in action via the multi-information display.

    Update:

I've driven my XV to Caylabne and Sierra Madre. It continues to impress me in terms of handling. That is compared to my 2010 Impreza 2.0R Sports.

How does the deep cherry pearl look on the XV? I always see Orange and White but I am intrigued by the cherry.

The deep cherry unit looks black at first glance but when light strikes it the deep red comes through. It's almost like roach black with hints of red. I'm not sure what it looks like in direct sunlight though since the unit was in the showroom. It blends in the black fender and bumper trims if that's your thing.

One was being serviced at MI BGC. It had plates already

    Looks like this.

The cherry shade of red comes out when hit under direct sunlight.

just called my agent (AGAIN) today and (AGAIN), he told me that there's still no available unit. he told me when i ordered (around end of april) that my unit will be available last month (july). he told me (AGAIN) that there's a big chance that i'll get it next month. it's been frustrating already since i called another dealer and they told me that the queue for the White Subaru Premium is very long already and that as of this time, only around 10 White Premiums have been sold. So disgusting and disheartening.

Even in Australia, the queue is quite long.

Meron bang spare tire ang XV? Nabasa ko sa ibang forum na repair kits lang meron sakanila and yung iba naman merong full size spare tire.

The XV is available in many countries with different trims and regulations to comply with. The local XV has this-

XV, CX-5, or ASX? I'm choosing between these three. Thanks for the advice.

i chose between XV and CX-5. the cx-5 is bigger but then it's not AWD. XV, IMHO, is better when it comes to handling. also, subaru is subaru. the only negative thing about XV is the waiting period..

If no budget constraint I choose CX-5. Just because of the skyactiv design & space. XV & ASX are small compared to CX-5 (I think). More dealership for the PMS.

Best place to ask this is in the Car Comparison section of this forum: Car Comparisons. That way you can also get inputs from those w/ 1st-hand experience with the other brands you're interested in. Enjoy your car hunt.
