+1 on the G23, it's also my daily carry plus 33 mags...the only issue with glocks right now is that they are priced their weight in gold!!! i bought mine a year ago, ngayun parang nasa mahigit P45K na daw!!!!! ay sus maryosep!!!!

for starters i would suggest the taurus PT24/7 series handguns. much cheaper and better feel sa grip actually(am planning on getting one for my wife) or you can get the steyr pistols. okay din naman, pare pareho na lang din sila mga polymer.

did you mentioned 33 round mags? sir arvin how much? i would like to buy and also a ton of stock mags..

last saturday, our gun club was invited for the director's cup held at bjmp firing ranges, lucena city.....ang saya naka amoy na naman ng gun powder,,,,,,,,,,anyway theres also a level 3 shooting competition at splendido ata yun in tagaytay jackie enrile aTA paputok ito of ppsa, napaka saya neto gaganda ang mga courses neto, its a 12 exciting courses, i think 350 rounds of ammo is enough na, anybody want to shoot punta tyo, march 27, 28, 29 ata yun its a very exciting competion. (ratratan eto) anyway here's some pix at director's cup in lucena last march 7 (saturday last week)

Greetings! I think it's appropriate that I make my very first post here in this thread as it bridges my interest in guns to my new 1 day-old red Strada GLX.

I'm one of the moderators of PinoyGuns.com and I invite everybody here to participate and become premium members in our forum as well. We promote the responsible, legal, safe and competent use of all types of firearms in the country.

I look forward to becoming a member of the TSCP as I begin to familiarize myself with my Strada. As for now, I'm backreading the threads; and learned so much already!

PS. I use the Colt 1911; have taken a full circle owning DA/SA autos of various brands, Glocks, revos; ended up for good here in the 1911 realm.

sige sir, pics to follow, medyo hindi ko pa kasi nahihimas masyado to eh.... as with ayaw ni minnie ng baril sa bahay, you can use your powers of gab este pangbobola, ay mali pa din.... yung panglalambing mo na lang!! hehehehehehe mas lalo na magkaka baby na kayo, medyo maganda na din na proteksyon sa bahay. si karen ganyan din nung una, pero eventually lumamig na din siya sa idea, siya pa ang nangunguliut na mag firing ngayon

Just for everyone's info, the first of two Gun Shows this year will start tomorrow, July 16, at Megamall and will run until the 20th.

If any of you will be going and wants an on-the-spot advice, don't be shy to approach the guys and gals of Pinoyguns (they'll be wearing Pinoyguns shirts).

Sir Dragoneye,

Would you know about the gun amnesty that has been reported in the news? Besides the loose firearms that were never registered, how will the amnesty apply to firearms that were previously registered but the licenses were not renewed or kept updated?

In the news it was reported that only a Php650.00 registration fee will be assessed. Are there other charges? Considering that for regular renewals the total amount to be paid to the PNP is around Php1400++.
