All in all I paid 1,070 for the materials including oil filter (free labor)
I paid around 1,300 for the Petron RevX Trekker Multigrade oil 15w40 (viscosity is also within manual specs).

Here are the specs of the oil which I find better than hx7 (I am for the API and ACEA ratings) and at par with Mobil Delvac Mx. Its also specifically for Diesel engines with EGR.

Thank you Sir for the update. Glad it all went well.

Much better if you use Mobil Delvac Mx IMO since sure ka sa specs nun like dun sa thread na remote bypass filtration. Sa Petron kasi wala pa ako nakikita actual test results. Pero kung effective naman sa ride mo, I guess it's ok na rin.

    Sir Ry Tower,

From seat of the pants feel. Okay naman sa akin ang Rev-x trekker based on experience. Less smoke (based on 4d56 NA). So far sa Strada ko, okay naman. Not much difference actually.

I would've wanted Delvac Mx sir pero the availability is a concern.

Enjoy ang strada so far. Kung saan saan ko na din nadala. ^_^

BOSB, Can someone give me the part# of the VIC Oil filter for 4d56? When I bought 7 TOP1 SDO oil, I was given a Ginza Oil Filter for free. Can someone confirm if this is the correct Part# (C-8321) for our Strada(4d56)?

Sir Ry_Tower, Thanks for the info. started using it since 5K PMS, I feel the engine has more power. Double Thumbs UP! No problem with the stock... always available...will recommend.
