Did I understand correstly?I should increase my speed all thorough out the 55 mins (eg 7-8 mins at 6 km then 7-8 mins at 8 km then 7-8 km at 10 km ..)

That is so tacky. I don't think a straight man would pose a nude pic of himself. When I had FB, it was mostly women that was active in FB.
yes, ang tunay na lalaki walang abs! haha! but im a firm believer of form follows function. if i feel the need to have a 6 pack ab to run or bike faster then id probably be doing ab workouts. when i was still competing in sport climbing and bouldering we'd do hundreds of crunches after training sessions even front levers but they never did require those bulging muscles. muscles are heavy, if you're not going to use them, they're just excess weight.

No increase in speed. i use minute per km instead of kph to measure running speed. 15min warmup at constant speed of 9 OR 10 min/km pace, then stretch, then 40min constant speed of 7 OR 8 min/km pace. 10min/km is 6kph, 5min/km is 12kph. threadmills can measure pace, you just have to set it instead of displaying kph.

usually run speed is measured in minute per km instead of kph. 15min warm up at a constant speed of 9 OR 10 min/km, then stretch, then 40min at a constant speed of 7 OR 8 min/km pace. 10min/km is 6kph, 5min/km is 12kph.

yung mga threadmill pwede iset sa pace instead of displaying kph.

i researched metafit last night, para ngang plyometrics but metafit considers some upper body workouts. medyo masakit din sa knees ito since also high impact due to the dynamic movements, better do this with matting not on concrete floor.

^ I don't think I can do metafit yet. I need to be in good shape first. May tama na talaga knees ko plus I have scoliosis.

Thanks for this tip. I'll check the settings of my treadmill. Right now I can only go 6 - 8 kph sa treadmill, Ang lampa ko talaga

that's okay. i think when i started running i was not far from your speed din. it is actually harder to run on treadmill because you do not have momentum unlike running on the ground

Well, I'm not hardcore enough to go the whole "avoid processed food" route. Hell, I still prefer white rice over brown rice even if the latter's more expensive and more nutritious.

For example, after a workout, it's best to still eat a cheeseburger from your suking fast food rather than nothing. Watch your diet, but that doesn't mean you can't cheat every now and then. It's still best to avoid sugary stuff like that 8oz of Coke.

Unfortunate for me, I'm back to hitting the gym after a one year hiatus... nawala cuts ko sa left eh :eat: and there's a mini beer belly forming na

^ Same here. Hirap mag workout kapag winter kasi.

Hope to have all the courage to stay within my workout plan.
3x a week 5K run then everyday push-ups before going to work.

I agree to this especially people who are lucky with good metabolism
but to those who have slower metabolism, overweight & wanted to be fit depends on what level they wanted to, well they really need to eat the right kind of foods & proper dieting.

I'm one of those unlucky people with slow metabolism. I have hypothyroidism pa. Although my numbers are normal now, I can't seem to lose all the weight that I gained! I do easily lose weight when I quit sugar and carbs, but I can't last long and I gain it back easily din. I have an officemate that eats so much, he can finish rice for 3 people and yet he is so thin. Yun nga lang, hindi rin siya lumalaki kahit gym siya
