Cathy imho if you opt to loose weight you need to use 3lb dumbells only, high reps kasi ito combine with cardio mabilis ang repetitions non stop its not anaerobic type na may rest every set of reps kaya mabigat na ang 5lbs dbell.try to check videos for insanity cardio exercises.
If you use like 20lb DB you will end up BULKING! well in contrary it looks good if you're lean or may cuts ka na for that muscle definition like Alice Dixon's guns.
CFU, mas mabigat muscles ha, not really ideal to bulk up if hindi naman kelangan.
kung gusto pumayat...burn more calories than you're consuming...simple as that
IMO sir... males when subjected to physical exercise or heavy gym workout, produces testosterone... it is responsible for building muscles... kaya nga sir yung mga body builders use testosterone boosters like steroids to bulk up....
when it comes to female, their bodies produce estrogen naman... that is responsible for their curvaceous body... and their big breast....
IMO kung mag ka muscles ang babae because of lifting heavy weights eh, yung tama lang para maging curvaceous sila, at hanggang dun lang po yun... kung lumaki man sila its because of their diet....
2 sets na 12 reps lang ako. I'm not sure if I computed it wrong pero sure ako I do not go below 10 lbs kasi yung dumbell for women sa gym na may kulay yung coated 8 lbs, I use that while I am at the treadmill. I use heavier pag weights na ko. I am not sure if I computed it wrong, yung nakalagay na number sa plates sa adjustable dumbell total weight ba yun or per side yun?

Wala na kasing resistance sakin ang 3 lbs dumbells. Ang batayan ko kasi dapat on the 10th rep nahihirapan na ko. Hindi naman nagbu bulk up ang babae diba? May gym mate ako babae ang payat payat pero ang bigat din magbuhat grabe! I think kaya kaya ko magbuhat mabigat dahil na rin sa supplements. Kasi pag wala ako supplement bilis ko mapagod.
OT pala may guy sa gym namin nagbe bench press ng 100 lbs. My jaws would drop talaga kasi para na siya nag bench ng tao!
Hindi naman ako bulk up. Gusto ko lang talaga yung muscle pain after a workout.

I take 2000 mg L Carnitine, 600 mg NAC and 500 mg Fern C 30 minutes before workout. Check ko nga sa gym at baka naman mali compute ko.
me.... megamen or any multivitamins and B complex and i just make sure i have enough sleep a day before and after a strenuous exercise....
Ako I take whey protein by ON. I'm 5'8" tall and I weigh 160lbs. Nagdadagdag ako ng 10lbs kada 2 weeks sa binubuhat ko. Right now I can lift 100lbs sa benchpress for 10reps, 4 sets.

ung iba nakikita ko, more than 150% ng timbang ang tinitira nila sa bench press.I don't know if you could continue for how long ung pag dagdag ng 10lbs kada 2weeks at some point may limit din yan. do you take creatine sir?
