Si Boom-boom kasi mahina pa ang depensa. His head
is a stationary target so sapul kaagad ni Ponce de Leon.

His trainers should teach him to bob-and-weave, yung
pailag-ilag so hindi siya madaling tamaan.

Pag na-master yan ni Boom-boom coupled with his KO
power, sigurado malalampasan niya pa si Pacman!

    Hi Guys,

Our next title fight is on Sept. 1 - Eriberto Gejon (PHI) vs Yutaka Niida (JPN) for Niida's WBA Minimumweight Title. Hope Yukka Gejon will bag our 4th world title this year.

Randy Couture retained his UFC Heavyweight title via 3rd round TKO of Gabriel Gonzaga. I thought this was an easy fight to win for gonzaga but the old man proved me wrong. The 44 year old Couture pressured and hit Gonzaga at close counters throughout the fight. The end came at 1:37 of the 3rd via groud and pound asssault...

In the co feature, my favorite MMC fighter Georges St Pierre also won against Josh Koscheck.

Suico keeps OPBF title by TKO; Jaca prevails

    By Salven Lagumbay
    Inquirer

MANILA, Philippines -- Orient-Pacific lightweight champion Randy Suico retained his title impressively while WBO Asia Pacific super featherweight king Jimrex Jaca barely held on to his crown Saturday in the Battle for Supremacy: Philippines vs. Japan card at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
Suico was brilliant in stopping the taller Koji Samejima in 2 minutes and 23 seconds of the eighth round after knocking down his rival in the sixth.
Referee Bruce McTavish did not bother to count when Samejima fell like a log from a big Suico right in the eighth. Paramedics immediately went up the ring to help revive the challenger, who stood up after a few minutes.
Jaca kept his title when his bout with Japanese Ryu Miyagi was declared a technical draw in the second round after the Filipino suffered a nasty cut. Referee McTavish called it a headbutt.
Miyagi knocked down Jaca twice early in the opening round but the Filipino returned the compliment before the round ended.
Promoter Rex “Wakee” Salud, who manages Jaca, said that a rematch will be worked out for the duo.
Suico, making the second defense of his Orient-Pacific Boxing Federation 135-lb title, improved to 27 wins, 3 losses with 23 knockouts, while Samejima fell to 15-2 with 1 draw.
Suico’s manager Joe Koizumi said the champ will defend his title in November or take on South African Ali Funeka.
In other fights, Wyndel Janiola eked out a disputed split decision win over Japanese Hiroyuki Hisataka while Noriyuki Komatsu and Roy Doliguez figured in a technical draw after the Japanese was cut in the first round.

couture is rising up in the ranks of the elite heavyweights in mma and arguably the best in ufc history. hopefully dana white can pit him against the world's #1 and pride heavyweight champ fedor emelianenko. a fight with the russian emperor would be an absolutely great match!!

yeah, clearly that's the next step in MMA - UFC champion vs Pride champion. They are already starting it off with the upcoming fight between jackson and henderson on Sept 8. If ever this happens, I don't think Randy could beat Fedor tho...

    OT po:
what's the latest news regarding the lone Fil-AM UFC heavyweight fighter Brandon "the truth" Vera? i believe he's got the skills to make it big in MMA, great defense against grappling, strong wrestling backgroud, and good standup/boxing skills.

BTW, among the up and coming pinoy boxers, I think Bernabe Concepcion has the best chance to become a world champion. he's got decent defense, moves around the ring well, nice strong jabs, good boxing fundamentals and punches very hard.
