    Ganyan din yung craze sa BETA-CAROTENE. Halos lahat ng tinitinda sa grocery dati eh may nakalagay na "Fortified with Beta-Carotene". Pati ata shampoo may beta-carotene eh. Then later on, scientists announced that beta-carotene does not have any significant health benefits at all.

    Pati yung mga Ome-omega na yan. Kahit nga sabon ngayon eh merong Vitamin A and E para bumenta.

    Lycopene ganyan din, although proven na na walang bisa ang lycopene pag naprocess ang food (ie ketchup, sauces), dapat fresh from the fruit.

    Dami naman nabobola sa ganyan eh... Omega 3 is real, pero not as abundant as they claim sa mga tuna na de lata...

    Pinaka masama Iron hehe, masama madaming iron sa adults unless anemic, pero syempre promote padin si Pacman sa IRONMAN Circulan hehe.

    advertising magnified million times yan=) its all part of marketing stategy, omega 3, phyto chemicals, beta carotene, lycopene, and others=) though they are really good for our body, dont get fooled with the inadvertent publicy, so if you see an ad, read between the lines, the good are multiplied a million fold=)

    Manufacturers and their advertisers capitalize on (or take advantage of) people's desire for good health.

    That's why they use all those claims to sell their products.

    So its up to us consumers to be well informed so we can tell the difference between truth and hype.

    mas trip ko ngayon Protein Water....I buy it sa fitness first, I take it pagnag wo-workout or playing sports (badminton and basketball) ako, very refreshing and gives me the protein I need while my muscles are active.....medyo mas mataas lang price niya sa ibang drinks pero dami naman ng benefits sa katawan and health....

    I drink tea a 4 to 5 cups of tea everyday. Iba-ibang klase, oolong, jasmine, green, chysanthenum, ampalaya....you name it.

    Usually the hot ones lang.....not the C2 versions.

    I drink tea becuase I need the fluids (Doctor's advice). Nakasawa ang tubig kasi. Yung iba naman, puro sugar and other additives.

    Pag nasa Chinese resturants ako, sigurado ubos ang teapot, kahit magisa lang ako.

    Unless, may cheaper and safer alternatives....I will stick to tea muna.

    yah true overdrinking tea is the same as over-eating. same thing with orange juices. if you drink a lot of vitamin c juices then take ka pa ng vitamin c tablets, then eat ka pa ng fruits, sobra na yun. usually, acidic ang kalalabasan mo.

    regarding tea, I've read somewhere that it has some components that can really harm your intestines in the long run. of course, I just read it so it may or may not be true. pero just think of its effects: most people drink it to have good bowel movements. somehow it contains chemicals to force clean up your intestines. tapos diretso na yun sa bowels. problem is these tea chemicals dont know the difference between the intestines inner wall and the harmful elements that are stuck with it. chances are baka inner wall mabawasan or in some cases, mabutas na totally.

    safest way to clean up the veins, arteries, inner organs: oxygen and water lang talaga. when exercising, oxygen pressure melts the sticky harmful elements (elements that can clog or become cancerous or initiate a disease etc) then water washes them of. that's the safest and natural way. no side effects.

    kaya nga with machines or even exercising, you have to have higher heartbeat rate.

    FYI: drinking too much water is jsut as harmful, you wash away water soluble nutrients and you also cause imbalance sa electrolyte levels in your body.

    Water soluble vitamins are almost impossible to overdose unless you don't pee at all... Vit C is easily drained when you pee. Unlike oil-based vitamins that could get toxic if overdosed.

    true. drinking too much is bad for one's health. water is the universal solvent. one can just imagine how water, in time, can damage body paint and even a car engine when trapped in a flood.

    but the best thing about water, no calories. if you use other liquids to wash out your body, chances are you replace the calories that you intend to burn/"wash" out.

    In addition, statistically, tea-drinking cultures have a much higher lifespan than non-tea drinking countries (Japan, China, Korea etc.)
