    not a new customer though but i'm on 1699 and getting 411mbps on 5ghz wifi connection

    Buti pa sa inyo..
    Nakadalawang reference number na ako.. 1 week pabalik-balik yung technician di nila maayos-ayos ang speed..
    150Mbps sa plan ko, 70 Mbps lang max yung 5G ko..

    pero pag dating ng gabi magiging unstable na yung ping ko sa google. right now as of this typing ok na ok pa yung connection...

    I used to have both PLDT and Globe fiber plans but I have higher speed with PLDT at a cheaper price. No brainer, let go of Globe but had to pay P7K for pre-termination fees.20230228_153945.jpgscreenshot_20230308_115623_speedtest.jpg

    Uminit ulo ko sa Globe Chat, cancelled na naman daw yung second ticket ko. Nung sinabi ko gawan ako uli ng ticket for 3rd time, hindi daw kasi ika-cancel na naman daw kasi uli. Nag-request ako callback di din daw pwede.
    Sinabi ko na lang na sabihin sakin ano gagawin para ma-fix yung connection ko.. Hiningan uli ako ng speedtest na ibinigay ko na simula pa lang.. Binigay ko uli, mag schedule daw sya ng technician visit.. Maya-maya meron daw pala ako naka-schedule na technician visit.. [emoji849] I-escalate na lang daw nya.. hayyyyyys..
    In parallel, nag-apply na ako sa PLDT, tapos na kasi contract ko kay Globe.. Free na ako for termination fee..

    Nawala antok ko sa Globe.. Ang hirap na nawala na Customer Service na may totoong tao na kausap sa call, yun pa naman ang nagustuhan ko sa Globe..
    Matitiis ko pa naman na kahit mahal, basta ok pa din Customer Service..
    Naalaala ko na naman yung forced upgrade nila dahil hindi na nila maayos yung DSL ko.. Hirap ako mag-apply sa PLDT dahil pandemic, ang tagal nila mag-review ng application.. Sinabay ko application ko sa PLDT at Upgrade sa Globe Fiber, after 3 months na ginagamit ko na Globe Fiber ko dun lang ako nakakuha ng callback sa PLDT.. Kaya di na natuloy..
    Ngayon, mukhang mabilis na mag-review ng application si PLDT. Sana makalipat na soon.

    That is what I like about PLDT - the human interaction. Ung robot ng globe gusto ko ng hampasin and screen ko sa tagal ng response. PM ko sayo ang contact ng PLDT. Sigurado solved yan problem mo.

    Our local ISP offered us an upgrade to 100 Mbps at no additional cost but a 2 year lock up. If I accept within this month, this will actually be a 1.5 year lock up as it will cover my 6 months left. I don't want to accept sana as I am thinking that they may actually just do a silent upgrade as that is their minimum plan offer to date. So I'm flexible 6 months later if there's a better retention offer or a good switching promo. I googled the router they provided and saw one claim that it is handling his 100 Mbps. I already had a silent upgrade to 40 Mbps since my subscribed speed was only 25. My router is a Huawei Echo Life EG8245H5. Anyone know if the router is ready for a silent upgrade to 100 Mbps? It also says, GPON Terminal if this info matters. Thanks

    UPDATE: Naka-apat na reference number ako sa Globe.. Mukhang naayos na nila yung internet speed ko kung kailan nag-decide na sana ako lumipat sa PLDT.. [emoji16]
    Ok na mag-stay pa din ako sa Globe, nagawa na nila..
    Magbabayad na sana ako sa PLDT, naisip ko muna i-check.. Yung 5G ko, umaabot 170 Mbps (yung plan ko 150 Mbps lang). img_20230314_143637.jpgimg_20230314_143851.jpg

    Mabagal bagal or hindi rin stable yung pldt fibr ninyo every nighttime? Mines unstable when pinging google and some sites are running bit slowly pero normal naman kapag daytime
