This is also what I like about iPhones (6s and below), madali lang iparepair, if you got a dent palit lang ng metal shell. Yung 7 and later may gasket na for water resistance.

I'd pick the 5s over entry level Android phones, though don't expect the 4 year old iPhone's battery to last as long as a Xiaomi Redmi 4x.

That's 11,000 off the SRP, considering it was just launched last April, pwede na. It puts the phone right into the lower midrange category na naka SD625.

guys question: ano bang ideal battery size for an android phone with 5 - 5.3 inch display? innoticed most have around 3000 - 3300mah, but my phone has 2460mah and it doesn't last a day. Light surfing lang ginagawa ko, no youtube/video playback.

Above 3,000mah sana. But the processor and GPU also plays a factor since the better ones also use less battery. They are more efficient.

    Sony ba phone mo?

    I agree.

If we were to compare it to cars, the car's maximum range have everything to do with the engine and powertrain's efficiency, actual usage, and fuel tank capacity.

A vehicle with a relatively small capacity tank coupled with an efficient engine and driven by a capable driver can easily out-distance a vehicle with a bigger capacity tank but driven poorly or has a badly-maintained, inefficient engine.

Same concept applies with smartphones. Later generation chipsets are typically more efficient compared to anything that came before it. That's how it is with the evolution of semiconductors.... They progressively get smaller, smarter, faster, but uses less power for the amount of work they do.

Depends on the hardware and software, yung Xperia XZ1 kahit 2700 mAh lang mas matagal pa battery life kesa sa G6, hindi rin nalalayo sa S8 with 3000 mAh. An optimized software and a modern, efficient CPU will still last longer than a phone with a huge battery and heavy resource-hungry software.

An iPhone 8 with a 1,821 mAh battery also lasts longer than an S8.

Plus I'd rather have a long lasting phone with a smaller battery so I don't have to rely on quick charging most of the time, mas lalong bababa lifespan niya. 🙂
