*C4Y, at 3k you can get any deskjet/inkjet. I recommend HP, any model just choose the highest resolutionn (dpi).

I had couple of deskjet printer and i can say they are not as reliable as laser. Ink is messy, dries, clogs, expires, costly.. So i decided to replace it with Laser and Canon Flatbed scanner, anyway i dont need to print color.. Unlike ink, ang toner kalugin molang pede pa magprint several pages.

I had bad experience thou in 3-in 1. Owned hp C5180, at first, ok performance naka network pa(w/ethernet port) then after 1.5yrs it decided to die..

For the last couple of years,- HP printer gamit ko... Good experience for me....

Have been a patient Epson printer user for many years, - until 'it' ran out....

    Using original ink cartridges....

Is this the dot matrix printer? We still have that at home. In my old job, that's what we use to print cheques.

It looks like HP is the most reliable brand of printer. I cannot afford laser kasi and I am sticking to my 3k budget talaga. Thanks everyone!

I had an Epson in between, yung BCMYK yung ink, mas sakit sa ulo dahil pag nawala ang isang kulay ayaw na magprint. Laging kumakain ng papel, bagal magprint, mahal pa ng ink (two sets of original ink could buy you a new printer). Ok siya iconvert to CIS, pero somehow di ko talaga gusto quality. Ilang beses kami finail ng printer na to. :D

The EPSON L110 has built-in continuous ink system. No need to have it converted by a 3rd party company. I have experienced less headache from this than from the cheap inkjet printer that we had converted with 3rd party CIS.

Mukhang na benta si C4U sa "Free P300 worth of Jollibee GCs" offer.

Anyway, good luck! The ink cartridges would probably last you 150 pages and how much do they cost? P390 each.

Is it that bad? My old Lexmark Printer can print several copies of a thesis and not run out of ink.

I'm not so much a fan of Jollibee, I like McDonalds more hehe

I'm considering the AIO version of this (L2xx) as my next printer should my current one die.
Is the CIS ink of this printer pigment based (somewhat water resistant) or die based? Di ko kasi makita yung detalye ng ink doon sa website ng epson eh.
    Thanks.

No idea on the ink EPSON uses for their CIS printers.

been using an HP 900 since 2009, ngayon lang medyo nagluluko. Haven't been using it that much, and i haven't encountered any clogging issues since i think the print head is part of the ink cartridge you replace. Pang general printing lang

CANON for me is the best especially with CISS.

EPSON, is now offering some printers with OEM CISS, but the price is around 9K i dunno if EPSON already reduced the price.

HP---- i am not a fan.

That is what I used for my office printer before. But my personal experience between the Canon + CIS and the EPSON L100/L110 printers just tells me I am really better off with the L100/L110 even with the higher purchase price.

    Canon printer - P2500
    ICS - P2000
    INK - P250 per bottle (four colors) = P1000
Total Cost = P5500 plus void printer warranty.

Epson L100 Ink Tank System Printer = P5,500 with 1 year warranty
-includes TWO extra black ink bottles

Epson L110 Ink Tank System Printer = P5,795 with 1 year warranty
-faster than L100 (from experience, worth the extra few pesos in price)

Epson OEM CIS printers have dramatically come down in price.

LASER printers usually prints in black and white only (unless it is a COLORED LASER PRINTER). Basic mechanism is very similar to a photocopy machine.
