yup, analogs kung di ka particular sa read-out...and sakit ng digital is kung mahina na ung battery di na accurate ung display nya...

i'm happy with my digital tester (wheeler) yata ang brand, nabili ko sa deeco raon..
you can get an exact readout of volts and ohms..

next na gusto ko i-try eh yung clamp meter, medyo mahal at nasa 2K pataas..

i have a sanwa digital meter. ang kagandahan ng digital, kahit baligtad ang polarity, nababasa pa rin. sa analog kasi, kung baligtad ang polarity, pabaligtad din ang palo ng needle, baka masira pa.

both are durable. depends on the user. I would choose digital for a more precise readings. Most digital testers are equipped with a buzzer to denote continuity set in this mode. Digital testers are similar to calculators which when left idle for 6 mins, it automatically sets off which eventually prolongs battery life.

I'd say digitals are more durable

    analogs are obsolete

believe you me, may nabili ako sa mga tyangge, digital VOM for P100! and it works and it's accurate naman. nga lang, di sya automatic shutoff so kung maiwan bukas, drain ang baterya mo (a 9V square battery).

Digital multitesters nowadays have an auto-calibration feature. When the battery becomes weak resulting to inaccurate readings, it will warn you to change the batteries.

analog or digital multitester/VOM?
