kaya nga what if eh? as of now nonoy side ang nagsasabi ng fake. at naghahanap naman ng intriga ang villar. so for me, as of now wala ko pinaniniwalaan sa kanilang dalawa. only time can tell kung sino nagsasabi ng tutoo sa kanila.

If Noynoy wins, and he fails to deliver, nothing will happen. Nobody gets screwed but us Filipinos.
Lahat naman ng politiko ganyan during the campaign.
Puro promises. Promises that were designed to fail in the first place.
But I'm optimistic about a Noynoy presidency. Especially with Mar Roxas at his side.
There have been no reports till now about him abusing his power and privilege, even as First Son. (Compare that to the Pandak Kids and Bigote's offspring).
Gordon would have been a better choice, but now is not his time.
He just doesn't want to see the clear handwriting on the wall. In 2016 maybe.

ya
looks like we'll have another Aquino president
now i'd like to see Noynoy become president
gusto ko makita ano mangyayari
gusto ko makita paano niya itutupad mga campaign promises niya
he promises to eliminate or reduce corruption
i'd like to see how he'll do all that
--
i'd like to see how Noynoy will deal with the deep-rooted, decades old system of private-public mutualism
there are many private sector people who make their living with the help of public officials
those private sector people have made many public officials very rich
that system has been in place for decades
it is so deep-rooted it has become culture
(that's why ang dami tumatakbo sa election... kasi pag nanalo, sigurado yayaman)
Noynoy is up against that culture (if he really will fight corruption as he promised)
Noynoy is now a threat to the livelihood of many people
will those people just let Noynoy take away their livelihood?
no f*#king way
they will resist
to begin with, they have a lot of money
they have friends in all 3 branches of govt
they have friends in the military, the police force
they'll buy people to keep Noynoy away from their business
Can Noynoy fight the culture? can he fight the system?
that's what i'd like to seeLast edited by uls; April 30th, 2010 at 12:57 PM.

yup we are all screwed regardless kung sino mananalo. kahit si mar pa nasa side ni noynoy. mas preferred ko pa nga kung walang nakapaligid sa kanyang mga trapo eh.
regarding Gordon, malabo pa syang manalo sa present system unless the next president will try to improve our election system.

April 30th, 2010 01:38 PM #1429Tingin ko naman pre may positibong mangyayari sa mga pangako ni Noynoy. Lalo na yung putting closure to the graft issues of Gloria. Sa ibang contenders, soft approach kasi ang pinapakita nila when it comes to prosecuting graft. Well, sabi nga, how can you demand others to be clean when they know that your hands are full of dirt.

It's easy enough to reduce corruption. Just put in jail several big-time grafters, and let them rot. Wag bigyan ng pardon or ipakulong sa resthouse sa Tanay.
At present, there is a culture of impunity. The few crooks who get caught are merely investigated, and never brought to justice. Kaya malakas yung loob ng iba na magnakaw, kasi wala namang nangyayari. They steal even in broad daylight, because they know they will get away with it.
This is the real legacy Arroyo left behind.
Now, kung maraming pinakulong na opisyales from the BIR, DPWH and Bureau of Customs at kinonfiscate yung assets, I doubt if the others would want to steal.
What we really need is a RICO statute like they have in the US, and a steel-willed person to implement it. Order will naturally follow.
so i looked under the two twist-beam cars i have here. wala talagang weld sa top and bottom. and...
