Ang nangyayari ngayon ay opposite. many poor couples end up depending on the parents to sustain them. Yung jeepney driver sa BBC documentary "Worst place to be a Bus Driver", umaasa yung mga apo sa kaniya... Problema walang trabaho dahil walang skill.

January 8th, 2014 10:18 AM #46Me choice kasi sila, they do have senior centers, elderly homes, etc. Dito sa atin, mukhang yung Lualhati ng Maynila lang ata eh. and they're not exactly well funded. i've been thinking about checking myself in there, should the Lord see fit to let me live that long. Baka me plan sila, e.g. pay XXX amount for N years, you get to stay there until you die :D

Nasa news recentyl, by Sept or Oct 2014 we will breach the 100M mark daw. Tingin ko mas maaga, kasi dami pinapanganak na wala sa registry eh. hehe

January 8th, 2014 01:40 PM #49mali din kasi batas natin. mas marami anak/dependents, mas malaki kaltas sa tax. Kaya kahit yung may trabaho na, ok lang magkaroon ng mas maraming anak.
dapat gawin mas malaki kaltas (less tax) pag single or couples na walang anak. tapos habang dumadami ang anak, mas kumokonti ang kaltas (higher tax)
tingnan natin kung hindi mag isip mga yan.

sinabi moh! i hardly see my children now. when they were young, schedules were more predictable.
