According to aviation experts, majority of passengers actually becomes unconscious upon sudden impact on water. Much like boxers getting knocked out by a single punch ala Hatton ( ah i remember those days when Pacman used to be a bulldozer, ngayon di na). According to the Robredo family spokesperson, Robredo is an excellent swimmer. kung hindi siya unconscious after impact, im betting he could be alive.
The aide naman has 2 conflicting stories, 1. nandun pa sa seat si robredo after impact. 2. wala sa seat si Robredo.
My take on this, nasa upuan pa si Robredo pero unconscious. The aide did not do his best to extract Robredo from his seat and he saved himself first. There was a picture of the Aide being interviewed by Pnoy himself sa hospital bed.
Im hoping for the best pa rin... Im still hopeful that the good secretary is still alive. For some reason that i could not fully understand, im emotionaly affected. Well i guess its because Robredo is a rarity among Pinoy politicians who puts country first then self tapos mawawala pa. Kung mangyayari ito sa ibang politicians, im not gonna spend a second in prayer to be honest
By that time may interim a iappoint...

"Strange that the fate of a man who we just automatically assume will be with us for a long time is now so uncertain, while a woman who claims to be on the brink of death for almost two years now is still with us"

Sabi nung anak ni Robredo handa na pamilya nila if ever the "obvious" happens, which is, yun nga... his father dies or gets unseen kasi tinangay na kung saan (kawawa naman)
Si Robredo was the one in charge of talking to local officials as DILG Chief and is a very important to the LP in next year'e elections. He will be hard to replace. Ayaw pa daw umuwi si PNoy...
That aide of his should be investigated, of all people in the plane why is that he is the only one surfaced and alive why the others are still to be found. I smell foul play plus he is not consistent with his stories.
Meron daw parang cliff yung seabed.
MANILA, Philippines - The wife of Capt. Jessup Bahinting, the pilot of the ill-fated Piper Seneca, wondered why he was rushing to his flight to Naga, forgetting even to kiss her as he always did in the past.
Margaret Bahinting was very emotional and still in shock when she faced the media to describe her husband of 36 years.
On that fateful day on Saturday, she was at the Mactan Cebu International Airport hangar to send off her husband with the hope of seeing him in the next few days in Bacolod for a Church event. Bahinting is also a pastor. They have 3 children.
Bahinting, Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo and co-pilot Nepalese co-pilot Kshitiz Chand remain missing Monday after their Piper Seneca plane crashed off the waters of Masbate on Saturday afternoon.
Margaret said she remembers someone from the office of Robredo call her husband on Friday asking for a chartered flight to Naga.
Since it was a high-profile client, Bahinting supposedly cancelled plans the next day. She and her husband were supposed to spend their vacation at their beach resort in Cebu.
Robredo’s camp also supposedly picked Bahinting himself to fly the Cabinet secretary to Naga. Bahinting is the chairman and CEO of Aviatour, which offers chartered flight services. Aviatour is based in Mactan island, Cebu.
Margaret also wonders why her husband did not use his favorite plane, the Vickers V-1000.
Bahinting’s wife said she always feels afraid whenever he is out flying.
Even if the search has not found her husband yet, she said she remains hopeful but is prepared for the worst. – from a report by June Perez, dyAB Cebu
