I just read this: Why politicians need to take 'MRT Challenge' | ABS-CBN News

and while I agree to a certain extent, why limit it there?

All government officials should take public transportation, period!

Be it the MRT, LRT, jeepney, bus, taxi, tricycle, habal habal, kuliglig so they will really experience what the everyday ordinaryfolks are used to.

    Sama na natin mga legislators

Then they can do their regulatory and legislative work with the right and proper perspective

They should really try public transpo
so they can realize how hard it is to taake public transpo

Politicians should be forced to take public transport, and to walk to and from terminals, like most people do.

When I go places, I sometimes like to walk... I've walked up and down Buendia and Ayala, all around Quezon City and have even walked around the EDSA-Taft area a number of times.

If there were a prize for the most pedestrian unfriendly metropolis in the world, I think Metro Manila would be in with a good chance of winning. Utility poles sticking out of the sidwalk... pedestrian overpasses blocking 80% of the sidewalk, leaving only a small space for you to walk sideways between the overpass staircase and the fence that keeps you from walking on the road... vendors taking up all the free space...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I nominate Sec. Coloma and Sec. Lacierda to the challenge... Dapat alone, during rush hour and end to end ng MRT...kagaya yung ginawa ni Sen. Poe...
