pwede ba, shift naman tayo sa ibang topic? like kung bakit mas gusto diyosin ng modern tao ngaun ang pera kaysa sa diyos?
at baket modern tao lang ang dinidiyos ang pera?

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

bec. unlike you atheists you have the burden of proof. for us, the faithful it's not a necessity to prove our arguments. there are so many holes/discrepancies in my argument, bec. the reality is the world is just one big unknown.

you cling on to science for proofs and yet you admit that science has yet to prove some inexplicable things that are happening around the world and the universe. yet to prove does not mean automatic proof. bec. if you argue like that, then you're no different from us - you're hoping that science will come up with proofs. that hope is just the same as blind faith - the same blind faith that you accuse us of

    --------

regarding naman, sa character attacks. I have studied all prophets of old and even Jesus Christ. you know what skeptics do naman diba, if they can't convince people to brand a prophet as false/phony, they resort to character attack. by discrediting the person, his teaching/legacy go down with him. but one thing skeptics fail to acknowledge and realize, the prophets that they try to discredit have followers/believers too. something that they can't deny but exist.

eh sa'kin dito sa forum, obviously you can't resort to character attacks anymore bec. I don't have credibility here to begin with at all. some of you call me OB (whoever he is) and brand me as a troll. kung tuusin sira na nga ako kagad., pero may bago pala sa tsikot ngaun, parang FB may likes button din. kasi sa PM ko dami ko na-receive na likes eh when i started posting about this topic. imagine mo yun, wala na nga ako credibility pero some people are actually listening to me and liking my posts.

something that logic can't explain ba heheh

wrong. i'm not hoping science will find answers. i KNOW science will find answers. coz that's what science does. it keeps asking questions and finding answers. unlike religion. religion is stagnant. your religion hasnt changed in 2000 yrs

if you say so that science will find answers. isn't that the same as searching for answers. remove answers, replace God. that's what we are. so are we different? the only difference is you search for answers to explain God. we on the other hand search God to give us the answers.

using God to explain things is similar to giving up looking for answers

"di ko ma-explain eh. sa tingin ko si God may kagagawan niyan"

science does not seek answers to explain God. DUH!

science seeks answers to explain things without resorting to God. without resorting to faith

ancient man resorted to myths and superstitions to explain things coz their simple minds couldnt come up with logical explanations

you still don't get it dude

    --

sige you wait for God to answer things. God talks to you naman eh

I believe that very purpose of science is to prove that the things around us is more of random chance than by intelligent design. hindi ba't yun naman talaga. so by proving any of the two, science explains God - his existence or not.

primary goal is to answer questions

like what is the universe made of? scientists are learning about dark matter and dark energy and stuff. that's what the large hadron collider is for. to answer that question

scientists aren't primarly aiming to disprove the existence of God

they got better things to do

using God as an explanation to things that can't be explained leaves things still unexplained

what kind of answer is "God did it" ?

if you're satisfied with that answer then good for you

but other people aren't satisfied with "God did it"

and it's good there are many people throughout history who weren't satisfied with "God did it"

if it werent for those people we would still believe the earth is flat

blame the priests and the bishops.... they were the ones who infused us of that beliefs.... remember, the high priests of the early days are the ones who placed Christ Jesus on the cross...

its good that pope john paul apologize to scientist branded by the church as heretics..

even though we are in the age of new technology, the teachings in the bible are still applicable to us today...
