    Rusco made multicab lose van

    Price i think ranges from 180-200t..

    veyr expensive for a surplus vehicle.

    Got a RUSCO 4X4 pick-up for P150k. Very good when it comes to fuel efficiency. But I think its not that durable, we'll see...

    The Japanese surplus (Suzzuki nd Dihatsu) are alot better compared to those China (Dongfeng?)made vans refurbished by RUSCO.

    Really true that Japanese engine is durable , reliable , easy to maintain and important is lots of parts.

    if it's a suzuki then it must be good. many suzuki multicabs here are used as an alternative transportation to jeepneys. parts are also aplenty and cheap. even the engine itself is cheap. you might think twice to have it overhauled (when that time comes) because buying a surplus F5 or F6 engine is cheaper.

    the body configuration of multican jitneys is like this:

    I think this is the extended chassis version.

    on the other hand parts are hard to come by for daihatsu "multicabs". I remembered my aunt looking for an alternator for their daihatsu. she's from ozamis city and came all the way here to cagayan de oro to look for an alternator. if I remembered right their daihatsu van was down for nearly a month. she went here few times before she actually found and acquired one.
