September 24th, 2014 07:03 PM #1Three Jeepneys were displayed, the iconic transport of every Juan but these are not the ordinary jeepney we usually see on the road. The NEW Jeepney CONQUEROR, A Certified Euro II Diesel Engine, The EXPLORER, A Euro IV Direct Injection "LPG Engine" and the SOCIALITE which is the Pimped out model of the King of the Road. All variants are mated with 5-speed transmission with ladder-type frame, Leaf-suspension with Shock Absorbers. Seat belts were installed as a standard.

Functionally its configured and built like a Rosa or minibus. The builder missed an oppurtunity to create something more efficient (long hood not practical) and more aesthetically pleasing appearance. Probably anxious about people mistaking this for a ripoff of a Rosa or minibus, the builder opted to stick with the familiar by cladding the vehicle as an enlarged jeepney.
