Would a reset of the ECU also apply to an older car such as a 1995 Honda accord?

Yup. Also when modifying.Pag nag-advance ng idle (pero look up factory manual on proper procedure, some EFI cars cannot be advanced by just moving the distributor. Also, distributorless ignitions can't be advanced), nag-upgrade ng octane o naglagay ng intake o headers, magandang mag-reset ng computer para makaadjust siya dito.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Reminder lang, ignition switch must ALWAYS be OFF when removing and reconnecting your battery as sudden power may surge into your computer. You won't have any use for a fried box kundi paperweight. 10 sec should do the job, a couple of minutes is probably more than enough.
hmmm...weird...diba pag a/t dapat bumaba ang rev pag nag shift ng gears? how come our lancer mx hindi man lang bumaba ang rev meter..naka abot na ng 120kph.weird nga ba or ganito tlaga? even in DS mode ganun pa rin. pag nakainvecs, well bumababa tapos nararamdaman mo ang hatak ng kotse..i could still remember that on other cars in A/T the rev goes down at least 3 notches when it reaches a certain rev. does this have anything to do with the computer?
