test driven a rexton kanina, yung sa friend ko... they bought one on wednesday... pinadrive nya sa kin... sabi niya i-floor to the metal ko dun sa skyway... grabe ang lakas humataw mas malakas pa sa fortuner 3.0D4D hindi ko rin marinig masyado yung engine noise kasi the engine is... suprisingly quiet for a diesel... kahit nakaidling parang petrol engine yung tunog wala yung diesel clatter... umabot kami sa skyway ng 170 km/h ramdam mo na kaya pang umabot ng above 170 km/h pero takot ako dahil baka matulad kami kay kenneth quintal hehe...

Hey guys i would just like to know if anybody here actually owns a Rexton II? If yes, can you please give your insights on this vehicle. If wala pa meron nito maski yung naka test drive lang. Am considering this and the sta fe. Would just like to know first hand experiences from owners. Thanks

Guys meron bang Rexton II 270XVT dito? May nakita kasi ako nung isang araw pero yung XDi lang... kung sino po may alam paki share naman. Tsaka magkano na ba ito ngayon?

a few months back, they were only offering the XDi models. These were also Part-time 4WDs.

last time we checked, the quoted price was around 1.8M

Hi guys we are planning to get a 2nd hand Rexton II. May mga tanong lang ako...

1) Fuel Consumption - Umaabot ba ng 10 km/liter sa City Driving eto

2) Brakes - Talaga bang ganun ang brake response ng Rexton II dahil mabigat sya it doesn't stop when pressed very hard?

3) Transmission - When I shifted from P to D, parang sobrang effortless para ka lang naglalaro dahil wala ka man lang maramdamang laban when shifting up to down ng P to D.

My folks were impressed with the power of its engine and also the surprising super comfy ride. Konting research na lang mukhang okay yung nakita naming 2nd hand Rexton.

I wonder why Ssangyong doesn't promote their cars aggressively like hyundai. imo, they have nice cars.

Sir, you may check yung mga suking stores natin selling korean parts na sila Fronte, Seiring, and Goodgear to know if readily available yung mga parts ng ssangyong rexton sa kanila...other old ssangyong kasi like mb100 and musso parts alam ko available nman...

then isang part lang kailangan mo... ang ibebenta nila sayo buong assembly...

kung sa wheels ka naman bibile... ganun din... wala din silang stock...

mag toyota, honda, chevrolet, hyundai, ka nalang...

Puro A/T pa nman ata mabibili mo nito sir....masakit sa ulo at bulsa pag may problem...i assume your budget is 400 to 500K...Why not consider gen 1 tucson instead?

500K na seven seater na diesel...Why note get an auv instead? Innova, Crosswind, Adventure or even a van like starex...

Captiva is okay sa looks pero wala akong idea sa maintenance...
