Pag nililinis, nag-ook, then after a while, nagloloko ulit? I had exactly the same symptoms when I had my b14.
Check mong maigi sir, baka loose connection lang sya. Galawin mo ng kaunti yung film nung MAF, baka maluwag na yung contact nya. So pag bumibirit ka, hahanginin, mawawala ang contact. Tapos pag nililinis mo, narerestore yung contact.
Currently having the same exact issues sa IDLE ng b14 ko of the same engine. Saan po address mismo ni sir Sid? ANy contact details po?
Diko po kabisado sa Cainta. Salamat!
i'm not sid. but,
if we have the same engine ('97 sentra EX, 1.4 li efi engine),
turn the air bleed screw counterclockwise by 45-90- or 180 degrees, sir. it's the large X (or +), depending on the angle, under the air cleaner housing, to the right of the air intake throat, as seen from the right side of the engine.
baka sakal lang.
this was taught to me by a veteran mechanic who was recommended by a nissan aficionado, may years ago.
if it don't work, turn the screw back to its original position, and bring the car to a nissan mechanic.
you may also remove the air cleaner (engine not running!) and take a peek into the throat. baka may dumi lang. that is, if you know what to look for.
i'd recommend a cleaner spray as well, but...
good luck, po.
