i would ask that to my mechanic. if top overhaul only (valves, valve guides, valve seats), in many models, it can be done with the engine block in place. if the piston rings, connecting rods and crankshaft are in need of service, it may be easier to do with the engine out of the bay. if machining of the engine block is needed, definitely the block must be brought out.

update guys. . ok na po yung series 3 ko. . pinalitan lang po yung ignition switch. . halos sunog na yung ignition switch ko, . ayun po, . nagpalit ako ng bgo, as in brand new. . nabili ko po ng 2,500 . . aray pa din. . kakapirasong piyesa ang mhal. . rare kasi, . last stock na nga yung nakuha ko eh. . so ok na po yung kotse, . 1 click start na po, . ng nagpa gas po aq sa petron, . confident na po ako patayin yung makina hehe. . kasi alam ko 1 click start lang yung kotse. . thanks sa mga help nyo guys. . kayo na talaga . . so far i spend 25k na. . para ma kondisyon yung kotse ko. . at least ngyn, worry free na tlg . . kayo na guys kayo na . . . thanks mga bro.
