Kahit bumper to bumper traffic, kayang-kaya ng Vanette babies natin iyan...

Last Nov1, I was caught in a snail-moving traffic for a couple of hours approaching a cemetery in Bacoor, Cavite (span of about 2-3Km only),- I am proud to say that my Vanette handled everything oh so graciously....

Everyone's cool in the van,- A/C is running smoothly(dry and comfy), engine temp has not reached even 1/2......When it's chaos out there.... :hysterical:

Ayos, CVT! Di man lang inabot ng kalahati???!!! Ok ah! Ilang rows ba yung radiator mo? May coolant ka bang nilagay?

Original pa rin ang aking radiator, bro. Two rows.

Only modification is that we moved the original second condenser under the front passenger seat and added an aux fan....

And then, I replaced the original fan clutch, which by the way cannot be repacked, and replaced it with a brand new one....

Distilled water to coolant: 1 is to 1

mga sirs, balak ko po papalitan ng diesel engine ang vanet namin dahil medyo madami na rin leaks ang engine nagpalit na kami ng valve coverl gasket pero ganun pa rin at mahina na ang hatak nya. ano po bang diesel engine ng nissan ang pwede sa vanet natin , tulad ng mga import na vanette. 98' sxg ang model ng vanet namin.

suggestion ko lang: before ka mag-palit ng makina, lagyan mo ng red silicone gasket maker yung valve cover gasket bago mo isara yung cover.
mahina hatak? blow by na kaya? or kelangan lang ng major tune-up (tappet adjustment, ignition timing, contact point gap setting, spark plug gap setting, etc..)..
sayang din naman yung original gas engine ng vanette mo, saka medyo malaking gastos din pagpalit ng makina. suhestyon lang, bro...

Nasira ko yun engine ng Vanette ko. Nakita ko sa ibang threads ang possible engine replacements, at may nakita akong isa na available. Ang hanap ko ngayon ay kung may alam kayong shop na kayang mag-engine swap para sa Vanette?
Or baka may alam din kayong ibang available engines?
Nakapag-tanong na ko sa Banawe. I'm just looking for other options.
