My Livina's doing a-ok. Got a bump in the rear (not my fault! my dad backed it up somewhere) but it'll be replaced and repaired next week I think.

I loooooooove my dealer. They pick up my car at my office for the PMS and they picked it up and brought it to the insurance guys earlier as well. And they returned it right after as well. And the dealer guy said that when everything is cleared with the paperwork they'll pick it up to be repaired when its scheduled already. I LOVE the fact that they give me service thats sooooooo convenient for me!

I thought I wouldn't get good service after buying the car since the car is bought and paid for already but that is not the case. They continue to make me happy with every bit of service they give me. Seriously love 'em.

Good day. I'm just new here. My wife and I will be visiting Nissan Mantrade hopefully this saturday to inquire about the GL. Can I get the name of your dealer?? Can you PM his name/contact number??

Good Evening sa mga GL owners. been reading this thread for quite some time now, but i dont see anyone has a same problem with my GL (Limited Edition). nagbakasakali lang ako kung mayroon na po sa inyo naka experience sa GL nyo na pumapasok ung amoy ng usok galing sa labas papunta sa loob ng car. I've already ask Nissan Shaw kung possible ba maayos un sbi nila 2 days daw dpt iwan ung car, eto lang kasi ung source of transportation ko at ng family. baka naman po meron na sa inyo has fixed this same problem as mine. kasi d ko po mahanap ung "tagas" eh.

OT: sorry po kung medyo magulo ung type ko...anyways sana po matulungan nyo po ako. god bless you all!

Hello fellow LOOPERS. Just a quick question. Alam nyo ba kung san nakalagay yung cabin air filter ng GL natin? I tried removing the glove box but find nothing there that looks like an air filter cabinet or the like. Thanks for your reply in advance.

Cabin filter is not located at the back of glove box. But you have to remove the glove box to access the cabin filter. Nasa gitna ang cabin filter ( likod ng controls ng aircon ) at malapit sa firewall ng GL natin.

You need to use flashlight for this. HTH.

brought my 2-year old GL to Nissan gallery for my 10,000 PMS. complained about a tok sound whenever my steering wheel is in max turn. service advisor told me that that steering joint needs to be replaced. waiting for parts na lang and under warranty naman sya..around 5,800 pesos for 10k PMS

- revisited the forum yesterday after months of not checking it. Good to see that the list has reached 60+ (ngayon lang pala ako naka-lista dito).

- our GL is due for its 15K PMS this week (got it at Nissan North EDSA last Dec'09). So far, its doing good.. FC, 80% highway, 20% city drive about 14-15km/liter (unleaded).

- no headaches so far from our GL... oopps, other than a dent which we may have gotten on a public parking (4,500 to fix according to the casa SA - buong panel, front/passenger side).

- will register at the official forum. thanks guys for putting it up.

Sir,

Cabin filter is not located at the back of glove box. But you have to remove the glove box to access the cabin filter. Nasa gitna ang cabin filter ( likod ng controls ng aircon ) at malapit sa firewall ng GL natin.

You need to use flashlight for this. HTH.

Steering joint replaced for free by NGQA (under warranty) but I think I am the second GL owner that experienced the same problem. Guys better check your steering and turn it in max from time to time (esp in sloping road). Paid 2,900 pesos, spark plugs are still OK, no need to replace according to service advisor. After 2 years I have water spots now on windshield and roof but car performance after 10k PMS still superb, very responsive and fast acceleration, can reach 90 kph in few seconds. will post update in LOOP also..

I have the same problem. Good thing NWA identified that steering joint problem and they will replace it on my next PMS visit (under warranty), most likely before the end of august. I am now nearing 15k kms. Aside from that problem, we are happy with GL. As for the water marks, I have the same on the roof. This is normal during rainy days. Just needs detailing and serious waxing to seal the paint from acid rains

Nagtanong ako sa Goldrich 350.00 daw ay labor charge palang tapos forgot how much each bulb is, nun nagtanong ako sa ibang shop di nila recommend magdagdag ng additional light bec masusunog lang daw kasi malapit lang ang pagitan...

I had change my horn also nagpalagay din ako ng fog lamp ang charge sakin 4000.00 with labor and parts na ito

About additional breaklight sa Goldrich din, habang itinatap yung power ng rearview camera sa backing-light ko ay napansin ko na puede palang magdagdag ng additional light (may mounting na pala). Walang 5 watts bulb kaya dun na lang sa breaklight itinap kasi kasing liwanag ng breaklight yung 21 watts bulb na available kaya naging 5 yung breaklights ko. Around 350 petot lang additional safety feature sa family car natin. Kung papagawa ka ay yung double contact bulb and socket ang kunin mo para puede parking light and break light, sayang nga di ko naisip nun.

i installed stebel nautilus,

1. add'l brake lights...sinigil ako ng 1000+, but when i said that in the tsikoters forum the cost mentioned was 350, pumayag rin.

2. change the horn to bosch fanfare, cost P1,000.00 with separate relay and fuse...this is to protect the integrity of the original wiring system... the original horn as provided by nissan is so small and pales in comparison even with the tricycles horns around.

O-drive - 1724 Dumas St. cor. Vito Cruz Ext. Lapaz, Makati City, look for Buboy. ok silang gumawa pati HU ko dyan ko rin binili, malionis at pulido and hindi matipiod sa discount.

may male terminal na isasaksak sa original na horn terminals para walang splice o putol sa orig na alambre. tapos yung bagong male terminal, nakakabit sa alambre patungong relay. from the relay naka tap sa battery ang isang alambre. sa relay din naka tap ang 2 busina. pag medyo malaki ang busina katulad ng bosch europa, lalagyan nila ng bracket para sa maluwag na lugar nakapwesto ang horn. hope this helps.

suggest lang pag nag tangal ng grill para ilagay ang busina, na lagyan ng tape temporarily ang bumper kung san halos nakadikit yung grill (below the nissan emblem) dito nagasgas ang bumper ko kasi pag hugot ng clip ng grill, sumayad sa bumper. siguro pag linagyan muna ng tape maiwasan maukit yung bumper. sabihin na din sa mag kabit na ingatan ang pagtangal ng grill para iwas gasgas.
