Boss, tanong ko lang ung FC ng 2008 sentra mo? tnx
hello bros! im just a rookie here in tsikot. maybe you can refer me to someone who can check the comp box of my B14 sup saloon for engine performance. though this is out of topic maybe you can share some of your thoughts.
thanks!
normally in small highways we have here I can only reach 160kph in one stretch, isang tulay lang...
one place kung saan kunti lang ang sinkhole and off course theses sinkholes are noticeable..
hondi uso ang drag sa daan.. dahil sa sinkhole at lubak2x na daan.. uso ang autocross hahaha lolz...
GH, question lang. Saan yung strongest point ng SR20DE engines ? Low-end, mid, or pang-rektahan siya ?
For example kasi, 4AGEs are powerful engines. However, yung acceleration niya is so-so. Mailalabas mo talaga full potential niya at top-end power, making it a weak engine for drag races. Which on the other hand is the opposite for Honda's famous powerhouses.
And how much takbuhan ng SR engines ngayon ? Clueless eh.
SR20DE engines torque point is normally mid range but with tuning & cams, it can be adjusted up or down the engine's rev range. Peak power also depends on the tuning, mine was maxed at 6000rpms with slight drop off at 7000rpms.
Comparing the Nissan SR engines vs Honda B-series is pointless because the SR series is more based on the 2.0L displacement which the B series engines are normally around the 1.6L to 1.8L displacements. But if you want to compare apples vs oranges, the SR20 engines will have the advantage of having more torque against the (so-called) torqueless wonder.
And SR20 engines have higher than normal max RPMs, often reaching 7500 to 8500 rpms (against the typical 6500) so the 2000rpm advantage of the B-series engines doesn't really count too much in this case.
sir GA16DE lang po ang makina nang nissan b13 ko wala po yng mga modifications only fine tuning
ito po yung link this is taken last year.. ang nabago lang ngayon wala nang resonator.. this vid my resonator p...

Congrats that your engine didn't throw a valve at 7,200 rpm but I wouldn't drive it sustained at 7,200rpm. SR20DE will sustain running at 7000+ rpms as long as the water pump doesn't experience cavitation too much at near redline rpms.
From my experience, the stock GA16DE engine looses power past 6000rpm. The power curve goes down past 6000rpm so the last few RPMs you gained in the redline might actually make your car slower when you try for a straight line acceleration test. Shifting before your redline (and landing on your max torque point) would give you more speed.
