Scooter uses CVT and to get the most of it, it should be fine tuned to the users preference. Fuel efficiency goes together with it. Baka naman first time pa lang nya gumamit ng CVT. Ganyan din ako nung bago pa ako sa scooter. After some trial and error how to feather the throttle and get the most efficient speed, tumipid din ako. Carb type pa ung sa akin. So definitely, mas matipid dapat ang EFi, kung walang problema ang unit, or maganda ang driving habit ng user.

^Tama, sa stock na Yamaha Mio Sporty/Soul, if you go slower than 35kph, you're just wasting gas. 40kph above is where the sweet spot is.

Add 7K more and you get yourself the most modern of the yamaha mio scooter line in the country.

    The Yamaha Mio MXi 125cc.

It can go between 39-42 kms/liter city driving and 45-65kms/liter highway driving.

Fuel injected AND liquid cooled (yes, may radiator with water and coolant :D)

Used to have Mio sporty. Nababagalan ako sa kanya since hirap maka 100 km/h and consumption at 32-35 km/l. Sold it and had it replaced with Mio Soul i. Mas hirap itong mka 90 km/h but consumption is waaaay better compared sa XRM ko dati at 50+ km/l un kaya ma achieve ng Mio soul i ko. I normally cruise at 60 km/h doing this. Speed is adequate if you are not looking for it as FC is un hanap ko na. I got mine at less than 80k cash matte black. Maganda pa yung design nya. No need to accessorize na except un box pero na pwede mo idagdag. No idea sa Mx125 except mas mahal ito but check mo both bka kayang kaya mo dagdag konti. If it speaks to you and knowing wala nang buyer's remorse, dun ka dapat. Being from Yamaha, di ka ipapahiya nito. In case kumuha ka nman, payo ko nman is wag na iset up setup. Domino effect yan na pag nasimulan na, tuloy tuloy na un gastos! Habang baklas-kabit un fairings, talop-wirings at palit- dagdag ng kung ano ano ay lalo lang nasisira un motor. I speak from experience coming from having owned an XRM where i spent more than 110k sa accessories and almost same gastos pa sa kakapabalik balik sa casa sa repairs at nasirang parts. After 7 years, i decided to sell it for only 10k. When i replaced it with the sporty nman, wala akong na experience na sira or tirik. Gulong lng pinaltan ko don. Sold it afrer 3 years at 30k (66k un cash nya dati) since nasulit ko na sya. I plan to do the same with my mio soul i. Sell it after 3 years then upgrade na nman bago bumagsak un resale value.
