Top Speed For Your Adventure

Sir,

My adventure odometer reading is now at 1320 kms. during the first 1000kms, i went up to 70 kms speed and when i change oil on its 1000 kms i sped up to 120 kms at 3500rpm.

My question is; ok lang po ba to hit 120 kms/hr shortly after 1000km? upto how long ba dapat break in period of new advie? Is it ok to use bio diesel on new engines like my advie?

Im using glx sports diesel............ kindly share me some tips on its proper and good maintenace.

too much break-in period makes your engine lousy and sluggish, and slows your acceleration response. i talk to a mechanic in mmc and he told me, di naman daw talaga necessary yang break-in period, the engines in new cars are already set to go full speed. that's what we did to our strada 2nd gen., from casa to our place hataw kaagad 150kph, now it's 5 years old, la naman naging problema sa engine, the acceleration has always been impressive. i'm not encouraging you to do the same thing, base lang ito sa experience namin.

honestly 140km.. above pa un i mean gusto pa niya umakyat hndi ko na lng ginawa kase ung radiator ko napansin ko tumaas siya eh.. i did it at NLEX from angeles to sn.fdo.. but when it comes to speed at diesel engine i much preferred ford ranger model we have 2 units of ranger and both of them are good speed up to 160, tahimik pa ung engine hndi ma alog ung makina although pareho lang sila nung adventure namen na 2.5L engine..

Astig .. Heheh! San mo bro pinatakbo ng 140km/h? And ilan rpm na siya sa tach mo? Thanks bro!.. Yung akoin kasi 120-125km/h sobrang tagal kaya binatawan ko na po..

OT: Also may kilala kayo naglilinis ng fuel enjector ba yun? 85000km na yung odo ko di pa nalilinis po un eh.. kailangan na po ba? O pag kinalibrate nalang?

My top speed so far is 110 kph. Lagpas 3k rpm na, all stock.

sa north expressway ko yan tinakbo.. simota filters lang ang nabago ko sa adventure.
diesel po sya.. 4k+ rpm..

sa saturday punta kaming subic. sana mapatakbo ko ulit ng ganun or mas lampas pa..

recently we went to subic. napatakbo ko sya ng 150km/h sa SCTEX... sayang nasira yung video..

kaya ng adventure gas mag 150kph talaga, nagulat nga din ako at parang may ibibigay pa, sa NLEX nahalata ako nung fortuner na nasa harap ko kaya nakabuntot ako sa kanya while he is also doing 150kph... considering na 8 years old na din yung super sport adventure, maganda pa din ang hatak at despite na mahal na gas, reasonable consumption naman sya, actually mas matipid pa bga sya sa 98' starex diesel namin.
