[emoji1]

Actually, parang sinapian na sila ng malas. It's biting them at the back. Nagtititpid sila for profits and market share. Now, they're witnessing the outcome .

By using an old engine na may history ng tumatalon tapos walang man kang safety feature,

Kasalanan din siguro natin mga buyer eh. Mababa criteria natin or standard natin sa pagbili ng sasakyan. Basta afford natin and maporma kahit walang abs, airbag, and other satety features ang car patok sa atin. Mahirap talaga pag 3rd world😢

Also MMPC being lead by a japanese eh hindi magkakaso yan.
Japs are very honorable.

Mahirap talaga pag 3rd world country. Sa US grabe dami laging recall almost every brand of cars may recall. Basta may accident involving a car may investigation sa car manufacturer.

Tinipid nila ang Montero by reviving the 4d56, an old engine. The original Monteros that were released were 4m engines.

Then nabenta nila ng mas mura and maybe stole market share from Fortuner, Ang dami naka-afford ng Montero even girls and newbie SUV truck drivers.

Now, fate is getting back at them with these accidents.

It's either they admit to the public that the 4d56 engine is an old era engine, and re-orient all Montero owners that their car is not as safe as the current crop of cars.

Or they recall the affected Monteros and install the brake shift mechanism.

Or they stop selling the AT Montero. The MT adventure and L300Fb dont seem to have problems.

ALL for the Greater good and Public Safety.

    ------

Hindi ba natatakot ang Montero top people. They sold so many of these, yet it's not idiot proof because of old tech. It happens you know,

Remember those BIR stories, wherein the an RTO branch transferred bulding to building in QC becusse they though the bldg was jinxed. Nagkakasakit sila and loved ones. Turned out kahit san bldg, whether new or old, the curse seemed to follow them. Eh kasi nga corrupt sila, sindikato pala yun vicifmizing taxpayers.

There are no shortcuts for market dominance. Have a heart Mitsubishi, matagal pa ang itatakbo ng mga Monteros dito, Ang dami pa naman lutang ngsun, mga babaeng Driver na mad pinoproblema ang split ends na nakita sa rear view mirror instead of paying attention to the roads.

    OB,

    mitsu 2.4 mivec (from 2.8 & 3.2 4M series), toyota 2.4 & 2.8 GD (from 2.5 & 3.0 KD), isuzu 1.9 Ddi (from 2.5 4jk), etc.
    .................

This kind of people are the ones that should be taken off the road.

This afternoon * ANC, guest nila yung isa sa complainant, w/ tony velasquez as the host. Tony was saying that, as per Mitsubishi, hwag daw dalasin yung engine wash, since marami raw elect parts ang mababasa.

    Agree ba kayo rito?

i believe it's a generic "warning", and not directed at any particular vehicle.

Once a year is about right for me, provided it's done in the correct way.

You should not let anyone wash your engine bay with water. Especially not with pressurized water, which can push aside rubber seals and get into places regular water won't. Better you have it done at a detailing shop so it's done properly.

The 600 mm wading depth of the MS is not rated according to the height of the air intake alone. The rating depends on the cabin seals and the waterproofing of the engine bay electronics. There is no guarantee the engine bay electronics above that mark are designed to be completely water tight.
