July 28th, 2014 12:29 AM #3as expected, 2016 yung release ng new gen Pajero....and the Triton/L200.... and the release of a small SUV..possibly an ASX replacement or an entirely new model.
I just hope that the 3.2 liter VGT turbo found in Japan make's its way here... I'd buy that even if it's in its's swan song year.

July 22nd, 2016 07:51 PM #7Hello,
I apologize for reviving an old thread but I'm currently looking at purchasing the current Pajero.
Since there isn't any test drive units available in any of the dealers in Makati, I'm in need of advice from current owners and people who are familiar with the SUV. This will be my first Pajero if ever. I'm under the impression that the diesel variant we get here, in the Philippines, is under powered at least on paper (based on power to weigh ratio). Correct me if I'm wrong though... So I'm leaning towards the 3.8 V6 variant because I'm worried that the Philippine 3.2 Diesel variant will be too sluggish to effectively and safely overtake others on our highways.
Your thoughts and advice?

July 23rd, 2016 12:13 PM #10Hi Walter, yeah thanks for pointing that out. Doesn't really worry me at the moment though because I still love the look of it even though the platform is old.
I just want to make sure I get one with the proper engine... Also, not really interested in getting the Dubai versions.

Which is better? Amaron or Panasonic Battery?
