as expected, 2016 yung release ng new gen Pajero....and the Triton/L200.... and the release of a small SUV..possibly an ASX replacement or an entirely new model.

I just hope that the 3.2 liter VGT turbo found in Japan make's its way here... I'd buy that even if it's in its's swan song year.

    Hello,

I apologize for reviving an old thread but I'm currently looking at purchasing the current Pajero.

Since there isn't any test drive units available in any of the dealers in Makati, I'm in need of advice from current owners and people who are familiar with the SUV. This will be my first Pajero if ever. I'm under the impression that the diesel variant we get here, in the Philippines, is under powered at least on paper (based on power to weigh ratio). Correct me if I'm wrong though... So I'm leaning towards the 3.8 V6 variant because I'm worried that the Philippine 3.2 Diesel variant will be too sluggish to effectively and safely overtake others on our highways.

    Your thoughts and advice?
