Guys, still having a hard time to decide between Fort and Monty. I love the looks of the Fortuner but Monty is more powerful plus the features are well updated.

For someone like me who'll be owning an SUV for the first time, I'm going through sleepless nights thinking which is which.

I have an odd suggestion, since you are having a hard time deciding based on the specs of the 2 SUVs, why dont you have yourself photograph separately beside a monty and a fort and see for yourself which one will make you more photogenic or appealing. . You wear what fits you is the same as you drive what fits you.

sir we have both monty and fort in our garage.. and I have to say we are happy with them both as they serve two seperate functions.. first the monty is the everyday car the we only sit up to five people since skip na tlaga ng 3rd row and the fort is our family car which we use in out of town trips and we sit up to 7 people inside. when it comes to power we have the 2.7vvti fort and the GLS V monty almost nothing separates them both on acceleration and although the manual mode for the monty is a big plus as I can pick the gear that I want but the auto of the fort can do it just fine.. lastly fuel consumption we are registering 6.8km/l for the fort and 7.7km/l for the monty.. pls take note that we have the gas fort..

I have a 2012 glsV, that 5 speed is a big plus, also the cruise control(i never thought of using it before) is really amazing for long drives. Even inserted spring cushions on my monty and the ride even got smoother. Test drive test drive!

Btw, any of you good gentlemen know where can i buy dash panel stickers? I want wood or carbon fiber accents.

Mga Sir's na try niyo na ba maglagay ng diesel additive sa new Monty niyo?

nag pa gas kasi ko kahapon sa petron and nag offer sila ng 66 pesos na diesel additive power source. so far parang mas gumanda hatak lalo..

Pero not sure of any Adv or disadvantages.

When I connect iPhone 3GS to head unit (2012 GTV) it can display the songs/playlist but songs will not play. Any solutions? May problem ba ang head unit. iPod Lang ba ang compatible or pwede rin iPhone.

You cant use the ipod/iphone cable that came with our units, try to use different cable, it will play. You can even manipulate all your songs in your iphone from the avt touch screen

Sir zix, my unit's stock cable can play movies and songs using my iPhone. Tried on the 2012 but not yet 2011... worked fine.
