i'm eyeing a used 2012 to 2014 gls-v. anuano po ba ang major differences ng year model na yan? facelift lang ba? saka baka pwede na rin pahingi ng pointers kung ano mga dapat icheck pag bibili mga expert. salamat sa sasagot![]()
^ halos wala naman pinagkaiba except for the bigger h.u. screen and the climate control system. The rims too are different and the tpms for the '14 model is already factory equipped i think
Things to check? Sa 5 yr old monty namin wala naman naging major problem. Although maybe you should check the condition of your prospect's inhibitor switch. So far i think every monty in the forum here has already replaced theirs

The time on my HU is always changing whenever I turn off the power. Is there a battery in the HU for the time that needs to be replaced?

^ apparently it's due to a bug in the software. In the montero issues thread, a fellow tsikoteer has already availed of the fix from his casa in taytay.

I recently availed of the software upgrade. Now my problem seems to be the GPS.. parang humina ang signal e. I called winterpine and ang sabi wala naman daw un sa software update nila. I am not sure... Is it just me, na talagang ganoon at di ko lang napapansin or talagang nagka problem? me comments po?
Hi, I'm now having problem on the tranny of my 2012 Montero Sport GTV (150,000 kms). After driving for more than 50 kms or more and on mainly uphill, the "D" blink (engine check light on) and the transmission is stuck at 3rd gear. Even if I stop and Park, then proceed to drive it's in 3rd gear, which means from stop position.
I was advised by a mechanic to overhaul the transmission and after doing so the same problem persists. Now what I'm doing if the "D" blink and engine check "On", I stop the engine and restart. It will work properly for a while with engine check still "On", but after few kilometers the "D" will blink again and has to start from engine off.
After several days the engine check will automatically turn-off and light "On" again when the "D" starts to blink.
Any thought or experienced that can help on my dilemma? Computer checks had been done and even the input shaft speed sensor had replace.
