In fully synthetic oil with 10T km change oil interval. Need ba palit oil filter on 5T km?

10T is too early for me, I change my oil every 13T to 14T with oil filter change at around 7T. I use OEM filters from Mitsuprime.

I work in Makati and live in Alabang, so around 70% of my drive is in SLEX/Skyway.
Sabi din ng mechanics from two different stores (where I bought my oil), they attended the seminar for Mobil oils, and they said that the oil I'm using can last up to 20T kms, pero dahil matraffic daw sa Manila, 15T is enough.

But I think what I'm doing is not applicable to those who seldom use their cars or those who have low mileage kasi baka it will take more than a year before you change your oil (which I think is bad if your oil stays for more than a year in your engine). In my case, I usually drive 5T kms every 3 mos, so the usual interval of my change oil is 8 to 9 mos (14T kms).

The user manual provides for severe vs normal usage scenarios and Time vs distance traveled.

to each his own. every 10k kms i believed is just right for my car. i based my oil/filter change interval on the km reading travelled regardless of the duration and the type of oil, whether it is claimed to last 20k kms or more.

di ko napapansin bro, i think steady lang naman buga ng liwanag ng ilaw. yung wiper ang pansin ko kapag nasa low at bumilis ka at certain speed, automatic na mag-adjust ng movement niya...

Ill try to monitor further. Sana wala maging problema long drive nanaman bukas.

i think meron nga issue kung ganyan na di steady yung headlights mo. ingat sa biyahe bro, nabasa ko pa LU ka yata drive safe and enjoy driving along NLEX>SLEX>TPLEX (exit ka sa dulo sa Binalonan).

You mean 75w90? Yes, you can. It doesn't matter much. What matters is the GL rating. Montero requires a GL3 oil. You can use a GL4 as long as the oil doesn't have elements that could harm your synchros (made of brass, a soft metal).

I don't know with 75w90, pero I've used 80w90 before and I think it's too thick, had a hard time shifting to 1st gear in the morning, specially when down shifting from 2nd to 1st. Pinalitan ko agad after two days with the recommended 75w85 GL3 and it instantly goes back to normal shifting. Be wary of the API more than anything, tranny calls for GL3 but I think we can use GL4, definitely don't use GL5 as it will hurt your synchros. GL5 are for our differential.

Pagbalik ko na mapacheck to bro. Sana wala maging problem sa byahe. Pero nabyahe ko na Manila-Pangasinan-Zamables back to Manila And Manila - Tarlac balikan. Wala naman problem. Pag start sa umaga 1 click lang din. Noted Binalonan bro. Thank you!

Makikisabat sa usapan sir. . . I think it's faster. . . And cheaper if urdaneta exit going to LU instead of exiting binalonan.

I concur. Taga Pangasinan ako, I often use TPLEX/SCTEX/McArthur, mas ok exit Urdaneta - faster siya.

Salamat sa tips boss. Kung ako lang sana magbyahe okay nako sa Mc Arthur. 2x narin ako nadaan this month sa Mcarthur. Maluluwag narin ang daan parang Pampanga.
