Sir, kong malapit po kayo ng Jabez, last monday 1 Oct lang po ang 1st 1000km check up. P3,134.44 ang damage, change oil filter, gasket oil pan, 7L mit Oil, fuel treatment, washing. Ang free check up a/c & bat condition, adjust hand brake to high, check clutch pedal pre play. Check engine noise. Before 10am ko nag in and before 2pm k na.
based po sa multi info display. also is it possible to turn off the sports mode of gls v? sorry po di ko alam gamitin ang montero
*treadstone, sir read your manual lalo na kung bago pa kayo sa sasakyan. marami ka madidiscover regarding your vehicle and its features.Normal driving just put it in D. Mag sport mode ka lang as needed or if you are feeling like an F1 driver.
Sa fuel consumption sir yung MID it averages your fuel consumption since you started the vehicle. So kung 5.5km/L ka don't be surprised ganyan talaga kung puro stop and go ka at prolonged idle. as you travel longer distances tataas din yan. Best way to compute pa rin is yung by manual kapag nagfufulltank.
*dirtpilot, you will not regret getting the GLSV over the GLX. sulit binayaran mo.
Advise to new owners, tiyaga lang po basahin niyo yung mga information dito sa tsikot. Marami na nacontribute mga previous members. Know your car and its issues and how to prevent or deal with them.
Greetings mga sir. Im new here and im eyeing for a montero sport over a fortuner and trailblazer, quick question lang, is it worth to get gls-v over the glx? Mas better talaga if meron turbo but does it consume more gas?
Im having second thoughts if the 100k* difference is worth it?

normal lang na mababa makuha nyong FC sa umpisa. ganyan din sa akin hanggang pataas sya ng pataas until i reach 9km/l city and 11km/l hiway.
Sir IMHO the difference is worth it. As long as it fits your budget. If you need to wait a little longer, the wait will also be worth it. Both of them are Common Rail Intercooled Turbo Diesels. Essentially the same engine, with the GLS-V having a more technologically advanced Variable Geometry Turbo, hence the additional power. Plus better brakes, transmission, exterior and interior features.
Fuel consumption probably almost the same, especially if you will be using them both in the city.
Just to point out. The GLX is not slow. In fact, it is just about right for me. The engine it uses is what the Montero and Strada uses before the V versions came out.
Thanks sa reply. 2013 has just been released when i called up a casa yesterday. Wait and see nalang muna
