Yup dati parang ang daming fortuner sa kalye pero nung lumabas itong monty, parang na surpass nya ang dami ng fortuner. Tapos konti lang ang color choices kaya you dont feel exclusive. Hehe. Parang ang daming pula puti at itim.

Maganda sana kung meron tayo number of sales ng monty and fortuner para may idea and comparison kung sino mas marami.

hindi naman fanboi ang monty owner

we just love and admire our vehicle despite its seeming "defects" and "disadvantages"

for me, its economical, safe and reliable

despite the company issued car, this is my daily drive from makati to laguna

just had my first full tank of the shell vpower-nitro diesel. i usually wait until the warning light turns on before filling. i had been using the regular shell super save diesel and fc on pure city driving manually computed is consistent at 9-10 km/l. i drive the m/t gls-v.

i must admit to being really conservative so i dont use fuel additives. i also don't know if it is just psychological but subjective changes were immediate, less engine noise, more power with less throttle. almost can't believe it. will update once i get to compute if the fc really improves.

dont get me wrong, i'm one of them. the MS is really the best compromise of power and fuel efficiency. cant go wrong with the MS.

indeed MS is the right choice! every vehicle in this world has its own flaws, regardless on which brand/model you're handling, sooner or later imperfection will come out, that's the main reason we have to take care of our rides through PMS.... so for those people who keep on insisting MS is a bad choice for SUV, better think again.... my personal stand point in terms of its features, efficiency, power & style this vehicle is a BEAST on its own class & i won't trade it for any SUV around....

Sayang pagkabili namin ng 2011 GLS-V namin lumabas yung 2012 model. Dami features. Kakainggit ( Lalo na yung rear aircon vents.. Nagtataka lang ako bakit hindi pa magpalit ng design ang montero. May tanong lang ako mga sir, bakit meron akong nakikitang montero na PARANG color violet na parang super dark blue na ewan? Bago siya wala pa nga plate e.

^that is mystic blue color. Yan ang pinalit sa lorenz blue mica. Ganyan akin. Baka ako nakita mo wala pa kasing plate yung akin hehe.

After driving my Montero for a few weeks, ang ayaw ko lang ay matigas ang steering at matagal mag boot ang HU, its not really a biggie for me.. Everything else is good especially the FC, i get 9.4km/l at city driving.

Ahh thanks po sa info. Yung samin naman 12km/l city driving din. 50k km na natakbo 1 year palang this month. Congrats po sa Montero nyo. ang hindi ko lang gusto e ang daming kapareho sa daan. Hahaha :D

Ganoon talaga ang Mitsu, di agad nagpapalit ng design para tipid sa mga molde at para iwas sa pagre-reconfigure ng planta. Notice that they did not immediately retire the previous generation Lancer. Yung MS naman, same body mapa low-end or high end. Pati nga yung GLX NON VGT ko, akala ko may tweeter, props lang pala.
Yung makina, same 4D56 engine bloc as 1980's L200. Nag optimize lang ng fuel injection at turbo.

No complaints though ... Mabuti na rin yung efficient ang planta para mas mababa ang cost of goods sold. In effect, very competitive ang pricing at tayo rin ay makikinabang.
