for me, it is always best to have the dealer/warranty service center open the panel so that if there is any damage, they will answer for this

pa check nyo yun, when i had my MIS serviced, i checked the bluetooth function and the mic was weak. ayun, hindi lang pala na saksak na madiin ang mic jack sa loob. now its okay. plus, i had them bundle up the long mic wire properly so that it will not rattle around inside the MIS panel

the V logo sticker is under warranty. and the manager told me he will replace it. i am now having second thoughts baka ma chip yung paint natin... hopefully meron nang accessory na chrome V logo. Like the V of GTV. ganda tingnan!

btw, my monty is scheduled to go under the laptop. I.configure daw yung engine to accept Euro 2 instead of Euro 4 diesel standards. Hope this solves the smoke issue.

im from the province mga sirs. walang Seaoil dito. What would happen if you downgrade it to Euro 2?

i'll try to give an unbiased opinion

first, i like that my fuel consumption has significantly gone down. matipid ang montero while, at the same time, malakas ang hatak. ang acceleration niya is parang gasolina. kung nakasubok na kayo ng diesel engines, iba ang hatak ng diesel na ito. very happy with it. ang sasakyan ng misis ko is a toyota D4D turbodiesel na M/T (innova) and iba talaga ang hatak ng montero (partida na yan na A/T ang montero). malakas din ang aircon. very happy na dual aircon siya. my other ride is a CRV (first owner ako) and, for me, kulang ang lamig lalo na for the people sitting on the 2nd row seats. maganda din ang ride, hindi matagtag. tama lang. and i like the ride height. at this point, ayoko na kasi ng sedan. nahihirapan ako sumakay. mas gusto ko ang mataas na sasakyan.

now, for the cons: medyo mabigat ang steering. ang sa CRV kasi super lambot ng power steering. ang sa montero, medyo mabigat. some people like it kasi it imparts a feeling of sturdiness. but, its not like the sturdiness you feel with the properly balanced steering heaviness of a range rover. ang sa montero, mabigat lang talaga. hindi sya kasing bigat ng sasakyan na walang power steering. ramdam mo lang talaga na hindi kasing gaan ng typical japanese SUV. also, some people think the montero is too high. nahihirapan na sila sumakay. also, medyo mausok. ngayon, napapansin ko na, medyo mausok nga, lalo na kung bigla kang mag-rev ng makina. lastly, ang audio system (ni-reserve ko for last). maganda siya in a way na madaming functions, pero dahil AVT, hindi ganong ka-reliable (like pioneer or alpine). i wish i can replace it with a similarly spec'd pioneer unit pero malabo ata. right now, hindi na gumagana ang steering wheel remote ko (will try to reset it later). and some people are reporting problems with the TPMS (wala ako nito kasi GLS-V lang ang akin). i'm very happy with the GPS. its one of those things na hindi mo akalain na very helpful pala talaga.

re: parts, mine is less than 2K kms so wala pa akong ma-comment sa parts. i'm very happy however with my wipers that came stock from the factory. okay naman para sa akin. re: durability, so far, mukhang durable naman. re: value for money, ito ang main value proposition ng montero. compared to its competitors, value product ang montero. for its specs, maganda ang price point ng montero.

+1, malakas ang hatak, malakas ang aircon baka need mo pa magjacket sa loob if nasa lowest yun temp

for me, di ako nabibigatan sa steering although mas magaan yun kotse. Nahihirapan sumakay yun ibang sumakay kasi walang assist grip unlike sa pajero o fortuner. Yun mga 2011 models ang may issue sa mausok. So far mura naman yun PMS.

Share ko lang, i have been using this wiper-ups for 15 years now to all my rides and it has protected my windshield plus wipers since then. Pag hindi ginagamit yung wipers, hindi siya nakasayad sa windshield, hindi nag accumulate ng dirt/alikabok. The rubber of the wipers avoid over heating especially under direct sunlight. Price is reasonable, just p500 per pair.. Although talagang medyo panis yung oem wipers natin, i suggest na palitan ng japan/us made wipers then protect it with wiper-ups

I park my cars sa tapat ng bahay namin as i donot have the luxury of big parking space. Pag park ko, it has been my habit na i-angat ang wiper blades nung sasakyan para hindi nakababad yung wiper sa windshield lalo na kung tirik ang araw specially over the weekend. Madali kasi lumutong ang wiper blades sa init na mina-magnify ng windshield kaya madali lumutong.

+1...me too. mas ok to. ang nakakainis lang ay un nasa covered parking kana at nagtaas ng wiper nila akala tuloy ng mga parking/washing boys mag papalinis sila ng koche eh wala naman araw sa covered parking lots.

im in my 4,000km. check with the link, no seaoil here. my smoking issue only happens in the morning when the engine is still cold. i will downgrade it to euro2 this afternoon since our local Mitsu said that he can turn it back to euro4 since it's only via Laptop configuration.

To monty owners, if mayroon seaoil biodiesel sa area ninyo, dont go back to euro2 diesel, kung talagang wala na lang ibang choice, tsaka na lang ipa-euro2.

sir zix, since you are already using this seaoil biodiesel, wala na bang black smoke ang gtv mo pag hinataw mo?
