Regarding the squeeking sound of the leaf springs....thats already a given and haven't been fixed by mitsubishi until now.

EGR valve, your the first one to post a broken valve (as far as I remember).

Compass reset and faulty spring on your airbag, that is also something new.

As with latest that i have been reading sa Strada thread, due to dirty fuel, some SCV are being replaced for Monty and Strada. A few owners have had SCV replaced under warranty.

So, we really have to go back to the dealership everytime to get our suspension greased up? Mitsubishi did a recall on the strada and montero regarding their suspensions and after i got mine checked it even went from bad to worse. just cant help but ponder on whats happening to my car and im dissappinted that mitsubishi cant do anything about it.

hello fellow bosbs.
i started my strada this morning and let it idle for awhile, then suddenly the exhaust note went out of tune. like it fainted and the sound came out some place else. i think it was under the engine. its like listening inside a thermos.

calling mga bisaya dito! ano bang tagalog ng "hungaw"? ganon kasi ang sound eh. i dont know the english term also. parang nabakla ang tunog ng exhaust.

Hi Sir Bertobol, "Hungaw" Singaw yata sa tagalog, Maybe due to incomplete combustion your engine sounds like that, or due to cold engine at start, try idle some time then accelerate slowly to give more fuel. So far mine have'nt encounter like that unusual sound at start.

planning na kasi bumili ng 2010 na strada at may existing HID na ako
na h4 hi-lo(headlight) at h11 for foglamps....

sir, what dealer kayo pumunta? but agree ako.dapat nga naayos na nila yan problem na yan regarding noisy springs, but then again, id rather have the noise then other more serious problem.

O.T. nag moist na ang headlights ko... kawawa naman si angel, nababasa siya.

hindi ko rin alam sir. hinahanap ko nga eh, but wala, nilubog ko na sa tubig to see if meron mga butas, wala naman ako nakita, but ill have it checked . yan ang problem sa aftermarket parts.

I think Sir Nano have the same problem... I never experience using my unit under heavy rain kaya di ko pa nararanasan. I'm also worried and tried to find a solution to this problem before it happen to me..

Hello Everyone! I just joined. I was actually looking for this thread I read last month about the Strada 2010 that he was driving at the Skyway when something fell on his car. I cant recall if it was the bumper nor what happened to him after that. Anyway i have a month old strada. I was driving along SLEX this morning, just got up the Magallanes bridge when suddenly i heard something and then saw my panel alert the open door icon. My main door was now unlocked (maybe that was the sound I heard). I switched my hazard lights and parked along the busy bridge to check which door it was and if indeed it was an opened door because this is a security issue. I was surprised that it was my right passenger door. It was open when i pushed it a bit.
Have you experienced something akin to this? I informed my SA and was advised to bring my car to any Mitsubishi Service Center. What is more surprising is, this is supposedly a brand new car! I used to have a Mitsubishi Adventure and I never had this problem. I love my strada believe me but so far this is my complain-- a big security issue that reminded me of the Toyota scare.

I hope someone can give me an advise. HAHA kung pwede lang papalitan sana ng bago ulit!

first ive heard of this. maybe the door wasn't closed well. i dont think its something you should be worried about, just have it checked.
