mgo bros, pahelp naman marecommend saan ko pwede patingin yung strada ko, kasi now union otis is saying that contaminated yung fuel ko.....how can that be....lahat ng cars ko pinagkakargahan ko sa same station and strada ko lang ang nasira. i think it's BULLS#$T. i am thinking of bringing it to diamond quezon avenue for a second opinion. mabilis lang kasi magsabi and blame the gas station. all cars ko diesel fed and sasame station ko pinakakargahan so i really find it hard to believe talaga.

what i find unacceptable is how your dealer treated you... it seemed that they dismissed your issue right away! yes, bring it to Diamond QA for a second opinion and i hope they wont dismiss you that easily and find possible solutions.

bad trip sobra, ikwekwenta daw yung cost to replace the damaged parts. ginawang gatasan agad me. i never really liked union otis. once i get the call today from them, ill inform them that i will have my vehicle towed to another shop for 2nd opinion. kalokohan itong ginagawa nila sa akin. gen3 pajero and montero sport ko sa same gas station ko pinakakarga and yet strada ko lang naaffected. hindi ko alam what gagawin if diamond also rejects my claim for warranty. should i sue the gas station for their contaminated fuel.???? how do i know thta they didnot intentionally contaminate my fuel in the tank in their favor para magpositive for water when they show the test to me.... any inputs from the experts will be highly appreciated.

thats why binenta ko strada ko and change it to hilux.. so far so good.. pangit lang sa toyota is yung service nila.. bro mas ok dalhin mo na sa q.ave diamond motor.. look for lito bitagan sya dati ang service advicer ko. maasikaso yan and lahat papasok nya sa warranty basta pasok sa warranty nde ka nyan lolokohin...

mukhang nagoyo ako ng union otis, just went there to see for my self the problem, and as usual gave me all this B.S. about the dirty fuel but they said that they will warranty the SCV which i know has a faulty design, to make the whole story short, they said that they will warranty the SCV as long as i pay for the draining of the fuel and the labor. umoo na ako para makuha ko na yung strada ko sa monday. daming B.S. pa. para lang ipa go ko na. bad trip talaga. am not going back there na sa otis. all you guys stay away from that casa UNION PACO.....opinion ko lang ito and it is still up to you fellow strada owners.

but hilux owners also suffer from the dreaded fuel injection problems especially the 2.5d4d engines of the hilux, innovas and fortuners....

mga sir, i have already set a reservation of a Strada 3.2 GLS Sport MT, could anyone help me in what tint gamitin ko para di makita ang loob kung sino nag drive. hehe. yung tint rin dapat pag gabi, makita ko pa sa labas. thanks mga sir.

i highly suggest you take the 3m tint 35 sa front, and 45 sa windows para di ka kita, kahit sa gabi ok ka...but there are other brands out there like vkool and llumar.

yes sa harap 3m 35, kita mo may tao sa harap but di mo makita yung tao lalo na pag bright and sunny. but if medyo dark, makikita mo shape ng tao but madilim pa dim yung face....

Need your help pls. Pasensya na po, I could not find what I was looking for from the old threads.
My GLX stock shock absorbers are still working pero gusto ko sana more comfy ride.
I was told na gas shocks ang nakakabit sa both front and rear. how true? saan ko ba pwedeng papalitan ng fluid shocks for both fron and rear? may kayaba ba na equivalent? kun meron saan pwedeng bumili?
wala akong budget for monroe etc brands sirs.

try mo na lang rancho or oldman emu shocks. Yun nga lang gas shocks pa rin.

sir, ang main difference nilang dalawa is 4X4 ang GLS,most suitable for off-roading, while yung GLX is only 4X2, more suitable on city or highway driving. they both use manual tranny.

mitsubishi stradas here only use diesel engines. i don't know sa ibang countries if they offer strada using other fuels.

sa fuel economy naman sir, generally matipid sa diesel ang strada. mine is about 8.2-9km/L right now, pero nung bago ako magupgrade ng gulong umaabot ng 10km/L ang consumption ng strada namin. im not sure pero i think other strada owners here even have fuel consumptions of up to 12km/L, so i can say na matipid sa krudo ang strada.

sir regarding sa FC po.. i have a glx na malapit na 4600 na ang reading, anyway,before my FC was 9-11km/L .. i was shocked nung nag compute po ako recently ng FC ko kasi nag 5-7km/L na lang bigla, grabeee na shock talaga ako dun! haaay.. just wondering kung pano nagka ganun, hindi naman ako matulin din magdrive at hindi mabigat paa ko sa gas ska hindi po b dapat suupposedly na 8km/L na ang pinaka mataas na consumption?wondering baka may sablay sa unit ko or something..city driving lang po gamit ko ,im from las pinas city so mejo traffic nga lang parati route ko..anyway. advice lang po..TIA

THE Mitsubishi strada'08 voted one of best pick up trucks in the market today for its looks and performance.
And so i think that is the good part about the car is the looks alone.

I own a mitsubishi strada'08 gls sport. It was love at first sight i tell you. A different body from most of the pick up trucks nowadays, it really draws attention.advertised and packaged to be an "off-road" and "rugged vehicle" it shows that mitsubishi did a good job selling it. my family owns a few pick up trucks and was impressed with it, so we give it a go.

My strada just turned 2 years recently and even before it's 2nd birthday i have encountered numerous problems with it and i to enumerate:

1. Back suspension squeaks like hell! Its like you're driving a car that already existed for ages! And believe me my strada always have a courtesy call at the dealership because of it.

2. My egr valve broke ( i think its way too soon!!!) so my car experiences rough idling and poor acceleration. I love to go out of town so overtaking slower cars with my strada make me think twice if its going to lag or not.

3. After replacing my ridiculously expensive egr valve, my airbag lamp turned on! And after some checks from the dealership (for the nth time!) they say a spring of the airbag is jammed!!! How the hell does it get jammed?? The good news is its covered by warranty and will be replaced. The bad news is i have to drive around with no chance of being saved by the airbags and unfortunately for me the dealership does not have the part yet and its been 2 weeks.

4. My compass resets all the time.. Nuff said.

We've owned and still own pick up trucks and i haven't had any much complaints with them compared to my strada.

To all you fellow strada and car enthusiasts, are you experiencing the same problems as well? Or maybe im the only one who owns a "faulty" one?

Regarding the squeeking sound of the leaf springs....thats already a given and haven't been fixed by mitsubishi until now.

EGR valve, your the first one to post a broken valve (as far as I remember).

Compass reset and faulty spring on your airbag, that is also something new.

As with latest that i have been reading sa Strada thread, due to dirty fuel, some SCV are being replaced for Monty and Strada. A few owners have had SCV replaced under warranty.
