Hmmm.. interesting! It actually makes a lot of sense.

Huh? From what website are you referring from? Lancer Sportback is not the ASX. They may look or even be similar in specs but are different. ASX is marketed in the US as Outlander Sport and even has its own website (www.outlandersport.com). Lancer Sportback is another car.

If you check www.mitsubishi-motor.com.au, the ASX is marketed there as a SUV (City-sized, according to them).

I'm no expert. I just don't think because of its smaller and less spacious dimensions, compared to the usual SUV or Crossover, that one can eliminate this from the said category.

Hopefully, I will get my ASX SE 4x4 Amazon Red tomorrow. Will post updates here for the sake of those who are also interested in getting this auto (Ayoko ko na magtalo sa mga tao regarding the class. )

Taga Cebu ako bro. The casa here had an available SE. Thus, I reserved it right away after I decided to get the ASX. Just waited for a couple of days for them to get a conduction permit and clean up or check up the unit before releasing it to me. The unit will be released to me tomorrow after I pay for the car in full.

Nwy, have you tried in other branches or casa? Baka meron available sa iba.

Nice. Same pala tayo SE. White looks good too. Good thing I'm not so picky with colors. Red was also one of my top choices. Good choice din. Hehehe. Good luck. I hope you get your ASX soon.

My Amazon Red ASX SE has arrived. Replaced the stock rims and tire to 18 inch Lenso Project D PD1 w/ 235/50/R18 Dunlop tires.

Sorry for the poor image quality. Used only my iPhone Camera on this one.

To other ASX owners, ano gamit ninyo na fuel? Unleaded? Yan kase yung sabi ng agent namin na gamitin dawn namin. Di pwede the premium or V-power line? I've been using diesel cars for a while and not really that acquainted with petrol engines.

I've been researching and learned that all our gasolines here are already unleaded (including the premium and high octane variants).

My agent told me to only use unleaded gasoline (assuming she meant Caltex Silver and etc.). However, I wanted to try out Petron XCS (since people say its pure and doesn't contain ethanol w/c could harm your engine in the long run).

Any comments? Mga ASX owners? or even Lancer EX owners? (I think we have the same engine)

Aeye, congrats on your new GLS SE ASX. I think its quite alright to use the higher octane fuel such as the xcs. THe vehicle manual specifies the minimum octane requirement (approx. 91) as well as the allowed ethanol content of fuel (upto 20%). I'm currently using xcs for my ASX. Brought it to Diamond motors valle verde C5 yesterday for 1k km. check. Cost me around 3.5k (free labor only, fully synthetic oil).

    I drive a Lancer EX.

It is fine to use unlead gasoline or E10 unlead gasoline.

Just remember that E10 gasoline tends to "spoil" in about three or four weeks in the fuel tank.

Thanks. Same to you too. Dba up to 10% ethanol lang allowed sa manual? I'll try to use higher octane fuels such as the xcs or blaze.
