gas savers do not work, so why install a gas saver?

gas savers (example: khaos, uniq, aeronox) can result in engine loss of power, overheat, etc.

buying a gas saver device/gadget is a big waste of money.

if you want to save gas on your EX, learn to drive it better. The fuel economy meter in the dashboard is your friend for this purpose.

I am not 100% sure if the prices are still current but at least it would give you an idea how much discount is available for the GTA.

I am assuming that Mitsu priced the Lancer EX with assume cost increases and inflation as well. The discounts were given to match the final price with the SRP of other cars in the class.

So in the given model life of the car, the SRP should not adjust. The dealers will just decrease the discounts to adjust for increases in cost/inflation.

MMC Jump 2013 is drawing near as the Lancer & ASX are already the recipient of their new lightweight fuel efficient 4J10 1.8L SOHC engine, I guess this will be coming to Pilipinas at the end of the year or early next year as 2013 models.

Atoy does a good job. I don't remember the quality of Clifford bodykits though...

But you might want to hold off doing the bodykit conversion. EVO-X is kinda common already. You might want to check what new body kit style they have for the Lancer EX.

Japan CBU - quality and reliability. As previous Honda owner, I'm convinced it will never fail in terms of quality/reliability.
High tech car - Econ, built-in rear camera (reverse)
Fuel efficient

Civic Cons
Hybrid of FD, City and Accord (no identify of its own)
Rear exterior design doesn't impress me
No paddle shifters

Lancer EX Pros
Sports car. Maangas tignan both front and back. Exterior design
Rockford Fosgate
Paddle shifters (M/T touch)

Lancer EX Cons
Reliability is a big question mark - known ABS dashboard signal problem. The car might spend time on the casa most of the time for repair.
Fuel consumption is still a question mark

There are always "cheap" GTA wheels if you just look in the right places. Assuming P15K for a slightly scratched set or P25K for like-new set is considered "cheap" (alloy wheels only).
