You can do a K&N drop-in filter intake mod. It would result in a 4 to 5 hp gain.

You can get even more HP (15whp peak gain with K&N drop-in air filter) and improved engine power curve if you do a UNICHIP upgrade with dyno tuning at Speedlab.

Also coming up is headers, which is dyno tested good for a gain of 11 to 12 whp (with unichip & dyno tuning).

Saan may murang rims 17" or 18" with tires na sana? Okay kaya yung sa mga ibang buy and sell sites na used? Nakakita kasi ako 15k 17" pero rims lang.
If you are upgrading the wheels, you might have to go to 18s to make it look better than the stock 16s.

For my GLS, I replaced the stock 16s for the GTA 18s a couple of weeks after I got the car.

Haha!
Up to you. For me, the GTA spoiler and a flat-black painted front bumper "bar" (or black vinyl sticker) will make your MX look like a GTA. Complete the look with 18 inch wheels (or bigger).

Alternative is a duck-tail spoiler. I am looking at this for my own EX.

Thanks sir! I'm looking for exterior and interior mods. Haha! How much ba set ng 18s with tires na? Nagtitingin ako sa concept one or rota site kaso walang price list.

Prices will vary greatly depending on brand, style and if new or used.

If you want a simple upgrade in the looks, you can opt for the 18 inch wheels of the GTA.

    Not really.

pwede naman, you can try ZWORKS. They are good with carbon fiber but can also do regular fiberglass too.

How much kaya kung halimbawa used na 18s concept one or rota? Pwede din yung sa stock ng GT-A, how much kuha mo dun sir GH?

Nagtanong ako kanina sa diamond motors fairview, 18k ang spoiler like in the GT-A. Reasonable?

Check ko muna site nila sir. Thanks for helping!

I got my GTA 18 wheels for mid 20s (no tires). No scratches, no dents.

You can post a "feeler" here or check the lancer forums at http://www.mitsulancerph.net/yabb2/YaBB.pl to check if anyone is selling their stock GT/GTA wheels.

If it includes painting and installation, I think the price is okay.

Nice for you sir, sige canvass pa lang naman ako as of now for the mags, how much ba set of tires, 18s? Ano magandang brand?

Ah. Alright sir, yung duck tail how much ba? Dun na lang ako siguro, para kasing feeling GT-A if mag spoiler ako na same as GT-A.

Eh nakalagay naman sa sulit and other sites na adobe gray is for all variants, except lang blue which is for GT-A and Ralliart lang? Haha!

I am currently using Dunlops but there are other good brands of tires. Price was around P6800 each, I think.

    Zworks price them P7,000.

You might be able to get under that price if you buy a set of wheels and tires from a shop. But you have to do a bit of canvassing on what is available in wheel styles and tire selections.

And of course, cheap tires offer cheap performance.

Depends on your preferred style. I personally want the ducktail because it is more subtle which matches my car's modifications which are subtle too, more under the skin than show-off.

You will have to sign up to see the forums. Once you have signed up and approved, go to the Lancer Fortis subforum and you will find a thread dedicated to the pics of Lancer EXs, stock and modified.

Had a "balikan" trip to La Union, from Mindanao ave QC to Agoo La union via NLEX, SCTEX and Mc Arthur Hi way and back, fuel consumption when I got home was 11.8km/l for the whole trip. Or 1 full tank, when I got back, 2/5 pa yung laman. Pwede na for the duration of NLEX/SCTEX 120-150km/h ang takbo ko.

Bagay kaya sa EX MX if palitan ko stock mags ng new look mags pero 16" pa rin, tapos nakaROAR or some chin, side skirts and rear diffuser kits?

maglagay pa kaya ako ng GT-A spoiler or duck tail na lang? 24 days to go makukuha ko na. haha!

we'll check the unit on the 15th.

    your car ... your decision.

But since you are asking our opinion...

16 inch wheels + GTA spoiler = :suka:

    18 inch wheels + ducktail = :shhh:

    18 inch wheels + GTA spoiler = :2thumbsup:

Damn! HAHA! Hehe. May nabasa kasi ako na higher than 16s e matagtag ang ride, and pogi points, sharper handling ang magagain, while on 16s, comfort, pwede na ring pogi points basta bagay sa ride, IMO.

In general, shifting from 16s to 18s will result in a harsh ride for most cars. BUT the suspension of the Lancer Fortis (the Lancer EX for you) is very good and really meant to handle 18s.

Take it from me, I was riding on the stock suspension with my GTA 18s and the ride was still very comfortable.

Running on 16s, the handling is very vague and delayed. It's like driving a boat. On 18s, the handling suddenly becomes as if you are directly connected to the road, steering response is instantaneous yet ride comfort quality has not diminished.
